I still think Legion of Doom is the best super villain group title. If only Marvel had it first... Reckon it could be quite a big thing!

Personally I hate when you get a page that doesn't have images on it... and it's going rather off topic which a few pages back was threatening the closure of this almost 200 page thread, which I think should keep going.... So anyway, I thought I'd show you guys a breakdown of my signature image

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...SANY0097-1.jpg
Low angle makes him look big!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...r/SANY0098.jpg
Again low angle but scaling him down will make apocalypse seem even bigger

Who needs flight stands when you've got photoshop?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...r/SANY0100.jpg
Shooting the characters laying down like this and rotating them so that the lighting stays consistent with the other images helps to sell the picture....

I then go through and cut all of them out individually... add loads of effects and shrink most of the pictures down to give a sense of scale to Apocalypse, colour correct them and add in some backgrounds. I tend to go to google and look for stormy skies or something that looks badass, the flashy effects give the picture its overall colour, so this one is quite red, despite there being a bit of blue in there the red was dominating...

Hope this inspires some of you to try out photoshop!

Quick question, friends: I scored the Target exclusive Cap comic packs, Cap/Winter Soldier and the Bucky Cap/Crossbones, for 50% off. Haven't opened them yet, but are they nice figs to keep around? If the consensus is lousy, I'll donate them to Toys for Tots in a month or so. :D

If you got the single carded versions of them, then DONATE DONATE DONATE.

The Crossbones and Winter Soldier are really nice. I am very tempted to tell you they suck just to make you donate them lol. I think everyone should donate to toys for tots.

Good for you man. I love kids as well and just love to help out and do what I can. I was on another forum and there was this guy who ran a toys for tots in florida or something and he said when anyone brought by something hed want hed keep it. That sickened me.

For 7.48, it's a good pack to me. But I didn't have a Winter soldier yet which made it something I couldn't pass on. I need more deals like this to build up my collection cus it's kinda small.:( Over the summer is when I really started collecting.

Do you have them already? If so, I'd donate. If not, I'd keep.

Very nice! I don't open mine, so it's much tougher to photoshop them doing anything. I kind-of want to stage a battle with them all in their packages though. ;)

Out of all of the reasons to respect some of you guys, being able to keep MU figs in package is one of them. There is probably no way that I could keep mine in box. I have kept a couple of boxes after I opened them because of the amazing box art. If I kept one in box, it'd eat me alive knowing that I haven't released that poor figure from its plastic prison.

After having every single one of my Ninja Turtles still in their packages but opened for 15 years, and finding out that they're essentially loose with card included, I don't think I can ever open anything else again.

Plus, if I open them, I'm buying them to play with. If I don't, I'm buying them to collect them.
