Keaton is Batman to me. I think the Tim Burton Batman movies were pretty cutting edge for their time too. He made Batman out to be the badass we all wanted to watch him be.. unlike Reeves/Superman, which was cool for it's time and all, but not even close to Batman and I think that was pretty much it for the big comic movies back in the 80's.

EDIT: for the record, Reeves is the quintessential Superman. He was genetically engineered to play him. |
I loved Keaton as Batman but that damn cowl was pretty awful- the neck does not move at all! A huge liability in a fight- and there's a scene in the first movie where he has to lean waaay back to look up and shoot his bat line!
The addition of the shooting grapple line was brilliant- so much better than the goofy batarang on a line they use in the comics- and a super thin line like the comics would just cut your hand in half if you tried to swing from it anyway! The Keaton movie version is so much better. |

Being Batman means waxing your face to prevent mask-chaffing.

I know I'm late to the party, but I figured I'd show off my epic toy haul from Christmas.

That's a lot of online shopping. Great figures though.

Here's my TRU, looks like they only have two of the 6" Thundercats figures, Lion-o and Mumm-ra.
