- Money, Hasbro??? I’m willing to pay for multiples of whatever fig you throw these ‘Cage fists’ on in my effort to rectify the poor design choices made for the small-large male body (most notably, for Namor and Wondy – I mean…come on, it ain’t rocket science that these two bruisers would be throwing hands more than most other heroes – and those ‘ionic’ fists that came with Wonder Man just DON’T cut it). |
...I also meant to mention that now that we have the updated Surfer that I've wanted for years (sans board, that is...Hasbro could have done better than that...texture for both sides of the board would have been nice as we usually see the underside given that Norrin is normally pictured descending from the stratosphere or some such elevated perch) and Surfer's back in the Marvel stable, can we get a Heralds wave????? Please, Hasbro. Like really...pretty please with sugar on top. SDCC boxset. Difficult to find Walgreen's/Walmart/Amazon exclusive. IDGAF.
"Make it so, number one...make it so." (huh, man...I haven't done a double post in a while...) |

@Triv or anyone else..
i HAD link that showed how to get the arms off of a ML fig (including the shoulder) but can no longer find it. does anyone have it or know of a site or know how to do it? i was fairly certain it was more than just heating it up and popping them out. |

Most female Marvel Legends can have their arms and shoulders removed by simply heating them up or using the boil and pop method with hot water. (My preferred method over a hair dryer.) Most male Marvel Legends figures will need you to crack a torso though at some point. To remove the disc type upper arms and shoulders (i.e. most figures on a Bucky Cap mold): https://youtu.be/oYVra_cpMms Another good video about cracking torsos: https://youtu.be/-UTkAXV4DdU |

I’ve been to two Targets so far and it seemed to be moving fine. Most plentiful character on the pegs was GG, shocking nobody.

lol No seriously, I need to see what you are talking about. Oh, one of my Walmarts finally got one of the newest waves in. The Avengers Cull Obsidian wave. :D:D:o |

At first i thought it was because it was after the Christmas season..or seasonal changes or whatever... but now that it's been an entire year and the action figure aisle is NEVER stocked full always looks shitty. they may get a case of something in a few times a year and that's about it. there are usually 0 to 5 legends figures there... and it's like ones that have been sitting there for over 6 months. also there are definitely Legends figures I have NEVER seen at retail. |
The only Marvel Legends I never saw at retail were the Abomination wave, and ironically, the Civil War wave Black Panther. I can only speak for myself of course, but I’m digging the mess out of the Captain Marvel wave. Is it the greatest wave ever? Nope, but I’ve seen so many people grabbing this wave, and not having many complaints. And while I passed the bomber jacket Carol to my daughter, I’ve seen others dig it because they can kitbash it. Grand scheme...we’re still the minority when it comes to these figures. We are big fish in an itty bitty pond, while the casual buyers are a whale in a darn teardrop. LOL

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/a6/8d...7f13d6c594.jpg As much as I disagree with jmurray and Nash in that I actually do rather like this costume, I have to agree it reminds me a lot of Gears. |
Hilariously, while I’ve found Walmarts to generally be horrible at stocking Legends, they seem to beat Target when it comes to carrying the Multiverse figures. It’s been months and I’ve still yet to see a single figure from the Aquaman Multiverse movie wave at any Target, even after the film’s success.

As for the Captain Marvel wave,I have mixed feelings about it. As an MCU collector, I love getting 7 movie figures. OTOH, four of them are Carol. I understand Hasbro wants to get as much reuse as possible out of their molds but this is ridiculous. I think the smarter way to maximize profits with this wave would've been to turn the Skrull and the Yon-Rogg character into army builders by including multiple heads. I would've combined the accessories for the standard Ms. Marvel and Binary and eliminated the BAF piece that came with Ms. Marvel. I would've eliminated the jacketed Carol altogether or made it a con exclusive. |
