It'd be pretty funny if it weren’t so tragically cruel to fans. Punk Storm is a choice I love, but also one I consider absolutely unnecessary. It makes sense if you plan to throw fans a bone and make Yukio along with some of the variant-costumed Xmen from the team she ran after beating Cyclops for stewardship. Yet, all of that becomes less likely when I consider how scattershot their decisions have been. Exactly who was asking for Beta Ray in ‘modern’ gear? “NO ONE,” yells the guy way in the back. Maybe they should focus-group more at the major cons instead of marketing, podcasting, and checking out cosplay bare bits??? Who knows? Maybe hire me…yeah, right.

I’m in this game for the comic canon figs, with the occasional MCU high-water mark thrown in. I get the MCU being the focus; logic points to the movies as the engine, not the books (and it ain’t even close). Given that I’ve acquiesced to reality and common sense, there’s no need to kick me while I’m down with wet farts like – ‘old’ Puma (who I still want very much, but really…WTF?), Wonder Man with baby fists laying down the law, ‘assy mcgee’-Blade, and ‘almost, but not quite, damn, why even bother’-Domino. Then there are the near misses. Speedo Namor was almost perfect only missing fists…and KY…uhhh I mean sunblock..I don’t care who Namor makes uncomfortable, he’s awesome! ;) Surfer sans board was a masterpiece and exactly what I detailed wanting – almost as if someone read my posts calling for use of the Sunfire body – weird, but no doubt a coincidence or maybe providence…can I say that with toys??? F-it, just did. However, despite my spoiled-collector whining, there is a silver lining in these tumultuously cloudy skies and its name is Vintage. I can only hope Hasbro uses this outlet to deliver happiness to we nerds that got this shit jumping with our love of comic figures WAY before Spawn or even Keaton’s Batman.

Not bad....but i wiah theyd stop referring to michelle as mj....mj is mary jane watson not michelle jacobs or whatever. Maybe they intro the real mj sometime? So is it just mysterio ( whos fucking awesome and i want that figure ) or is it also hydro man?

Also, another villain is also rumored for the film.

I seem to recall them saying this isn't the real MJ, but from this trailer it seems like her and Peter will have some romance, and if they introduce another MJ later on that'd be a weird coincidence in-universe
