Not directly Legends related, but there was apparently supposed to be an Ant-Man scene where Arnim Zola makes a cameo appearance. I saw some concept art of what he could have looked like and man, these looks are awesome!
https://www.slashfilm.com/arnim-zola...t-art-ant-man/ These two in particular are my favorites: https://d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.ne...cept-art-2.jpg https://d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.ne...cept-art-4.jpg |

Can anyone with the Spider-Verse 2 pack tell me if their Miles Morales figure rattles when they shake it? Like a small piece of plastic is inside of it. I’ve had 2 of the Miles figure and they both did it. I’m kind of ocd so it bugs me but, if it’s common with the figure it wouldn’t bug me so much lol

I received a request for how I made the Daily Bugle paper that I had JJJ holding in one of my last posts. Since it's something that I came up with and didn't follow any instructions, I figured that I would make a quick guide on how to make a DB paper to display with Marvel Legends. Step 1: Do a Google Image search for the Daily Bugle in order to find a newspaper cover you like. Step 2: Once you've found a cover you like, copy the image into MS Word or Pages (Mac). This way, you can resize the image so that it will be in scale with your figures. Either program should have an option to view rulers on the document to help you size the image. It should roughly be 1"x2", depending on the image you chose. Once you're happy with the size, print it out on regular copy paper. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4903/...5cbd0c29f9.jpg Step 3: With a pencil, lightly draw a horizontal line along the top and bottom of the news paper cover. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4821/...db1206d4_c.jpg Step 4: Cut along both lines so that you have a strip of paper like below. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7876/...7589b5ff_c.jpg Step 5: Fold the paper so that it accordions behind the newspaper cover. IMPORTANT!: When folding, don't crease the edges. Having a slightly round edge on your folds will help make the paper look like it has several pages inside, giving it some "body". https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4872/...268d7b26_c.jpg Step 6: To make the accordioned strip of paper look like a neatly stacked newspaper, apply some stick glue (not liquid glue) to the center of each "page". Then use either your fingers or a paper clap to apply pressure to the center of of the newspaper till the glue dries. It should only take a few minutes for the glue to dry. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7910/...54e3a232_c.jpg When you're done, it should look something like this: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7815/...3a3c3acb_c.jpg It's not as convincing up close but on the shelf with figures, it looks pretty good. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4831/...645785d2_b.jpg |
^^^That's really, really cool!

Edit: Just read the lower part of the cover. Makes sense now. |

That is pretty awesome jwy. I've just got a piece of paper I rolled up in the hands on my Jameson. Though, I also drilled a hole in his mouth to put a cigar in. |
Anyone notice on Dorksides website under Marvel Legends the banner shows the new X-Men wave? it's not a link, just a banner, but in the past that's been indicative of them going up for sale soon. My guess would probably be 2/1/19, this Friday, but of course it might not be. It just seems most presales have been on the first of a month.

Thing is, I really want to cherry-pick the Caliban wave, too. Not sure I want the full wave, much less a full case. But man, finding anything at brick-and-mortar anymore...woof. |
Can't wait for the X-men wave to hit... adding 4 core members to my 90's X-men team from one wave feels kinda crazy IMO... it is usually just one or two.

That odd looking tornado kick effect that came with my StormCollectibles Chun-Li actually makes a decent "scream"

That is awesome Bo Tef, as is Syrin. I'm really hoping that she gets made in next year's Deadpool wave, assuming there will be one. I doubt she'll get in the X-Force wave with Psylocke and Boom Boom taking up the most likely female spots.

Thanks nash- yeah, she would go great in a DP wave. (I'm actually surprised by a few folks on FB that had no idea who she was)

Just a quick reflection on the general state of marvel, from a fan sence 1987....if you told me ten years ago, when I walked out of the theater blown away by iron man 1, that in one decade this franchise would make this photo possible, I wold not have believed it, but here we are, and this is one bad mother fighter, ( anyone whose watched pulp fiction on TBS gets that).

I feel every cat owner can relate to that photo on some level.
