I haven't ever had any scale issues with the Legends. Sometimes guys are drawn big, sometimes not so much- as long as things are reasonable (Wolverine on the Bulldozer buck for instance would be weird) then I'm good with whatever Hasbro does.

The bigger they are the better the splatter when ya throw em off a roof, cliff or out of a plane without a chute. ;)

To my recollection, Super Skrull is the only figure leaked through Walgreen's system without any acknowledgement from Hasbro. Iron Doom was leaked like Super Skrull, but comic art for Infamous Ironman was teased at the end of a Hasbro panel. Though like you said, I haven't really been keeping score.

So, apparently only one Gamestop in my state got this wave..The only one left when I arrived was 6-arm Spidey...

I can't go looking everyday, but when I can get out, I try to hit as many as I can. Fingers crossed I find everything soon. I regret not buying the whole set off Big Bad, I normally do. I'll pre-order the entire X-Men wave. I don't want to miss anyone there.

Has the Kingpin wave been spotted at Walmart?? Interested, because I've kinda wrote them off. I've heard of most sightings of the wave at Target and Gamestop, with a handful showing up at Walgreen's.

I snagged Red Goblin, Silver Sable, and Black Suit Spidey from GameStop near me, never saw the rest of the wave. It looks like the ones I need are sitting in a neighboring state. I’m almost tempted to go get them, but I’m trying to be more responsible in 2019.

That’s the old Hasbro Herc after he got off the juice...

Just show some Marvel love...

Note: I hated the Kree Sentry at first, but in hand, IMO, the thing is decent looking and is close to comic accurate....I do wish he was taller though, but a pretty good piece when you actually get to see it up close in personal...

I like GameStop now because their inventory is fairly accurate. If you request an item to be held online, they usually have it around here. I’m going to get my local comic shop to order me a case of the X-Men wave. He usually cuts me a decent deal. I thought I could talk myself out of the Black Panther wave, so I didn’t preorder, and completely forgot about the Kingpin.

Bulldozer. yay. I'd be more excited if he and the rest of the Wrecking Crew didn't have scale issues. However, the Wrecking Crew is finished!!!
Grim Reaper!! Nice left field inclusion!! Now, a new Wonderman on the Hyperion-Buck is needed!
Wasp/Ant Man/Giant Man! I suspect these will be movie figs, but I'm very excited to see how the sculpts come out.

Great news!!

My first mention from 4 years ago...

Yep, I know that temptation far too well, fellow traveler...pretty much live in the Sakaar of toy collecting, myself. After my Amazon pre-orders fell through for this wave, I resorted to Ebay to just get the bloody job done. Sable should be here Saturday.

Meh...I like the kitbash better. Simpler is better for me in this case. That line work on the corset and boots for the skin tone on the other custom is pretty sloppy, and I don't like the use of the Netflix JJ head.

In an update...I got an email from Amazon today saying that Puma and Night Thrasher was delayed (like I thought they would be...) but here is the juicy part...

"In addition, due to a lack of availability, we will not be able to obtain the following item(s) from your order:

"Spider-Man E3955 Legends Series 6-inch Red Goblin"

"Spider-Man E3950 Legends Series 6" Symbiote"

"Spider-Man Legends Series 6" Marvel's Black Cat Toy"

"Spider-Man Legends Series 6-inch Marvel's Silver Sable"

We've canceled the item(s) and apologize for the inconvenience. If you see a charge for the canceled item, we will refund you within 1-2 business days.

If you are still interested in purchasing this item, it may be available from other sellers.* Please visit the detail page for this item below..."

So.....Amazon didn't delay my preorder...they flat out cancelled it....

Nice...

Nice hauls! Every time I see that Kree Sentry figure, I just can't help but visualize the Capcom Sentinel. Something about the body size and structure. Wonder if it's intentional.

Bo Ttef 01-31-2019 05:16 PM

I was fine with the Hasbro version- just gave her a cape and swapped her hair to something more classic X-Men (I think it's toybiz Mystique's hair painted blonde if i remember right) I've always found her short hair way sexier anyways :)

That's why I would love the black version of Emma- White's already done

Bo Ttef 01-31-2019 06:00 PM

I... got nothin'.... I guess they could be Mangaverse versions of SpiderMan and Goblin??? Just such a weird choice of character versions...

See if there are any local toy shows and how much for a table- bring in bins and just let 'em go cheap. you'll have them cleaned out in no time. Make more than a garage sale but less than ebay... depends how fast you want it gone.

Nah shows are a pain in the ass. I may just sump it all at once. I got a whole assload to get rid off. Gonna take months to catalog it all and research value. Gonna be a lotta energy drinks and long nights man haha. Then theres also dis assembling the part swap customs, repackaging the ones whos boxes ive saved. I need to be multiple man i swear haha.

@Night

Well damn, Night. I'm sad to hear that.

You could always try here and there's eBay, of course. If you wanted to sell them all together, retro video game shops and comic book stores are an option.

Ways...lol

It's not difficult to do if you remember the convo and it was on this thread, or a thread you can search like “SDCC 15” etc. I've been here since the close of the old Legends thread and remembering that helped me find it. The interesting side observation in looking back is how the convos cycle, at least the ones I've been involved in. Kinda cool to have an archive at your fingertips and see how many suggestions and kitbashes came to life and of course the photos. But not to overlook the ‘weirdness’ of being able to just pull that shit out, yeah, maybe I should have chosen a career in intelligence. HA!

Right now its just an idea im considering. Been thinking of it for a while. Might move into things like figma and 1/6th but not sure. Just an idea.

Hey Night. I have had that thought a few times but I get over it. A Great Custom always brings me back. I have like 10 more Customs paid for and waiting to be made until I think of another and add it on.

Dr Kain 01-31-2019 10:09 PM

So Amazon has shipped all 6 figures to me and they are supposed to be here Monday. I'll be selling Red Goblin and Symbiote Spidey if anyone wants them loose. I might be doing the same with Black Cat. $15 shipped. PM me if interested.
