I couldnt help it!

KOOL. But I think they were aiming in another direction in the Nolanverse as Blake becoming Nightwing.

I didn't mean to ignore it, I just hadn't checked yet lol. I replied though

swindle: that's hilarious. I can't stand those undies and elf shoes. The tim drake robin would probably look awesome with that head

Tiberius 08-01-2012 10:01 PM

There's a guy on here who did a nice job making a Nightwing movie version with that head on a Bat body.

Here it is, from MintCondition: Movie Concept Nightwing (Dark Knight Rises) - Toy Discussion at Toyark.com

hahaha it was meant as a joke. Inside joke with me and my gf that if Blake became robin, every gay dude and girl would secretly hope for that costume :P

Tiberius 08-01-2012 10:18 PM

Is it just me, or is the suit in Batman Begins a lot cooler than the suits in TDK and TDKR..

It's not just you.

Tiberius 08-01-2012 10:20 PM

I got an itch for HT as you all can tell, so I am just wanting to spend my money right and I think Batman Begins Batman is the way to go..

LMAO!! it actually kinda works....I'd want to make a custom Robin, more like a mix of Robin's suit, Batman's and Nightwings
like a concept figure

Definitely. Once they reduced the cowl so Wayne could turn his head it killed the silhouette of the suit, imo. The head now seems too large, or he has a pencil neck. Can't quite put my thumb on it but Batman Begins definitely had the best suit for me.

It's hard to "spoiler tag" a photo, Swindle. Maybe post a link to the photo? Someone is bound to get TMI from that post. Just sayin, bro. :o

Spoiler Warning --> Watch the end of the movie again. The last scenes show Bruce Wayne retired and Blake finding the Batcave with the Bat & gadgets, and the batsuit. The whole series is about the Batman being a symbol. Last shot: Blake steps on the underwater platform and it rises, fade to black title screen, "The Dark Knight Rises." Blake is Batman II in the Nolanverse. <-- End spoiler.

SwindlesShop 08-01-2012 10:31 PM

yeah thats what i was thinking, but then again im sure all of us have seen it :P

Spoiler Warning --> I really hope he get's some training in martial arts or something, because as is he's probably going to get his ass kicked if he became Batman. <-- End spoiler.

I actually haven't seen it, so I'm spoiled I guess, lol. Actually just from the vibe of the commercials I deduced that scenario....

No worries man, really. Ironically JasonAbbadon and myself were going to see it last night but we decided on Spiderman at the last minute. Knowing that scene will not detract from my enjoyment at all when I do go see it. My girl actually said she'd see it with me so I'll catch it this weekend.

haha okay phew! yeah theres plenty of other twists and surprises that are more essential to the plot than Blake's.
I think JGL pretty much looks the part of his secret identity... that's who I originally thought he was playing when I saw he got cast.

mindmeldx 08-01-2012 11:07 PM

that signal is rhe $#!t! Hey paint a mask on the Blake Robin and he may look pretty close to Burt Ward who played Robin on the 60s show ha!

For some reason I'm thinking about doing a Bane drawing soon. What do you guys think? By the way, that John Blake/classic Robin mash up was hilarious.
