I want Silver Sable just to do the poor man's Lilandra headswap, but damn... I haven't even seen a trace of that wave anywhere... not Gamestop or even my LCS. And looks like all my Walgreens went with the Blank Panther/Captain Marvel waves instead. I feel like this wave is gonna end up like the Spidey Silk wave... I never saw any of that wave at retail either... not once.

Thank god that doom iron man isn't legit, cause it looks kind of terrible. Although that is probably just me being salty because I want a classic doom from Walgreens to go with the F4 set, but instead we are going to be getting a completely un-needed doom. And where the heck is super skrull.

I didn't hate the design, but I would much rather a classic Dr. Doom. I still use the Marvel Select Doom as my main Doom, I have an old Hasbro one too, I think it came from the Ronan the Accuser Wave, but he's not displayed as often.
And yeah, where is Super Skrull? I want to see that!

See, this is one of the biggest issues I have with the figures, because on the one hand, there's no doubt that a character in their classic or most iconic outfit will sell, but at the same time, there's a large audience who prefers that character in a different design that they had for a long enough stretch of time that it's referenced elsewhere (games, film, TV, etc). And if it's a character that's probably only going to be made once, which one do you go with?

Like the X-Men, I've been so happy that they're filling out the Jim Lee/90s/animated series costumes as a focus, but at the same time I'd have been just as happy with a more modern Rogue (green/white hooded costume), an X-Force Psylocke (either Storm's team or Cable's team), and a blue/white costume Angel (with a feathered wing option). And odds are good that, for a lot of characters, we won't see alternate versions for a while, if ever.

(Also, really, would it have killed them to include an alternate Buzzcut head with Bishop?)

I'm all about Emma Frost...but as the white queen in her duds from Uncanny X-men 131. I like her much better as an ice hearted bitch that wants to take the X-men down! The X-men don't have enough women in their "rogues gallery" as it is. Bring on the corset and white fur cape!
