That undercover set is from Iron Man 2. And was rumored so long ago.. If it hits stores now then I would also expect Mandarin to become a peg warmer soon after. AKA I don't see this showing up. At least not in the IM2 packaging randomly.

Side note: The store front pegs at my TRU with IM2 figs on it all say "Iron Man 3". Eh?

Does anyone know when Wave 3 is supposed to hit retail? Or has it already? I have a son who's begging for Hawkeye & Black Widow and I don't feel like spending $50 for something he'll play with.

The TRU pegs have said Iron Man 3 Since before Xmas.

Given the sudden appearance of the Unmasked Warmachine on dhgate followed by the undercover set and the appearance of the animated series wave at retail I think we'll see a last push of IM2 at retail.
We look at it as a dead line, I dont think the Big box stores see it the same way. Most seem to have no problem mixing their Thor, Cap and IM figures in with the Avengers merch.

Maybe I'm mistaken. I just remember getting stuff with the Target logo on. It'll come to me eventually.

I don't really see that as a problem. Heck, if I were running things, I'd be distributing Cap Hydras in the Avengers case assortments, and putting IM2 final battle Whiplash as the obligatory one-per-case.
