Especially that helicarrier being the size that it is. I'm betting you should be able to get the helicarrier off of HTS with no problem.

Alienweirdo 06-23-2012 02:21 AM

Would love to get the Masters of Evil and Legends pack, but I doubt there is any way anyone from the UK can get them.

I love how they can't refer to the Pony as 'Derpy' lol stupid political correct fun police..

not true it will probably be on display and that means we will be able to 'find' it at retail

upon closer inspection while these aren't loafers you probably want it on the oversized card right?

avengerboy123 06-23-2012 09:18 AM

I know what I'm getting Bruticus super helicarrier and the masters of evil!

Bit hard for us to go to SDCC unless we fancy flying over. And as far as I am aware, hasbrotoyshop doesn't ship to Europe.

bmorr 06-23-2012 12:00 PM

Just curious, does Europe do any large comic conventions? I know TF fans have the Auto Assembly(I think thats what its called), but i never hear of anything in your neck of the woods, so to speak.

Well, thousands of people from outside the U.S. fly in for Con every year.

What's the usual Hasbro Toy Shop.com policy?
Do they put the exclusives up on the site after the convention or during?
Do they provide a heads up when they are supposed to be onsale?

After, usually a couple days, but anytime within the week after.

I met a guy from London over there last year who was buying all the Optimus prime stuff. I wonder if he'll be there this year again...

Thousands of people clearly have a lot more money to spend on toys then I do. Obviously I realise this, and good on them. One day I will do it myself! I should have made myself clearer in my original post.

I guess my original post should have said 'anyone from outside of the US can get them easily unless they fancy flying over or someone else is kind enough to pick them up for them' Not that is a hint or anything, more of a comment on how hasbrotoyshop doesn't ship outside of the US and Canada.

Iceman 06-24-2012 08:56 AM

I don't think many people go to SDCC just for buying toys but the amounts I see some people drop is crazy. San Diego in July is just a great vacation all around. Most people who come from far away have to plan their year around it but it's well worth it.

ChuckSass 06-24-2012 09:12 AM

My offer still stands, if anyone wants to pick up the set and sell me a Psylocke—or a Maria Hill—I am down.

That Maria Hill is gonna drive me nuts.

bmorr 06-24-2012 01:47 PM

SDCC will be on my bucket list if it still goes strong up to......2040 and beyond.

Lol, I bet you can get there sooner, bmorr.

That sucks! You'd have to pay to ship twice, once to someone in the us, then to ship to you! Does BBTS ship over there? Sometimes they have a bit of SDCC stuff...

Pros From Dover 06-25-2012 01:37 AM

BBTS doesn't ship to England. At least that's my understanding from a buddy who lives there.

I got two packages from BBTS last year. I live in Czech Republic. So it is highly probable they ship to UK as well.

Huh.

More likely he doesn't want to pay the insane amount of shipping that would be involved then. Who does, though?

It's true, BBTS does ship to the UK but the postage fee's are extortionate compared to other US companies I've bought from. They had Bucky Cap ML on sale for $4.99 or something, so I thought that was a good deal, until postage of $40 was added making it cheaper for me to buy the same figure here in the UK for £20.

I'm sure a lot of these figures will be available in some form or another single carded in a general release or something later on down the line, so we'll get them eventually!

Pros From Dover 06-25-2012 03:24 AM

Ah yeah, well, there you go.

Perhaps I should amend my statement?

BBTS does not ship to the UK without asking for your anal virginity first.

GMANIFESS 06-30-2012 03:17 AM

How does this guy already have a SDCC Helicarrier IN HAND?

SDCC 2012 Marvel Universe Avengers Helicarrier Exclusive Maria Hill In Hand! | eBay

Peteparker 06-30-2012 09:01 AM

Wow, looks that way. Nice find!

I don't think I'd ever pay $300 for it, but it's cool to see in amateur pictures anyway.

Exodus 07-03-2012 04:09 PM

So with SDCC a week away, for the MU exclusives, being a new collector just almost a year, is it really that hard to get them? I saw the MU Ages of Thor and Cap SDCC exclusives going for around 25 a piece on ebay which is what they went for when they first came out...If you're patience do the prices eventually drop down to within reason?
