Oh, I'm not saying that the line wouldn't last very long due to lack of figures to be made.

After listening to so many people complain about how long the IM2 line dragged out and they were sick of it, I can't help but see that happening again. Figures would pegwarm, the line would die.

I'd rather have a shot at getting all of those figures over the course of a few years, one at a time, then Hasbro canceling the line.

As I recall, that's happened once already. I remember, ironically enough, a Punisher/Iron Man armor that never saw the light of day.

All sounds like good news to me. I am curious as to if all the Movie Avengers will be getting Super Articulation down the road. Lord knows the Hulk needs it bad.

I am excited for this new MU set. Since I really don't have any from this set I'll be glad to buy them all.

See that's the problem right there. "A Punisher/Iron Man" armor. These lines are very rarely taken seriously and all these "concept" armors are thought up and over distributed, that's why they pegwarm. If they were taken seriously and put out strategically (not 30 repaints of the same armor) it would be a very profitable line. It would leave room for the Legends to make new characters instead of clogging up the roster with more suits of armor.

yup... get the case if you can swing it. well worth it in the long run. no need to hunt, waste gas, etc. - plus guaranteed XF Deadpool, Doom, etc.

i pre-ordered the SDCC ML XF 3pk from Marvelstore on eBay for $100 shipped. i just have to get that set and i dont have time, nor patience, to F5 my life away for a couple of days trying to get it. im not taking my chances. im going to pay to play since i can't expect someone to go through all the trouble of picking something up for me at Con. might as well nut up, or shut up. :D

Not worth it - I don't collect 6", but I have a small growing Deadpool collection shadowbox type thing and I wanted a 6" Deadpool to add to it. previous Deadpool figures are so friggin' expensive...

I preordered, 1 DP/Blade, Doom, & Mystique (hopefully--if it's Moonstar I'll just trade her). I'm hoping I find these in retail before my preorder hits, but I didn't want to chance the DP/Blade figures, and once you already are paying for shipping.. might as well order more or take advantage of the PoL.

It's great that he's (DP) one of the variants (or Blade is),.. so not only is he shortpacked, but he's actually even "notpacked" in 50% of the cases they'll be shipping, since the other half will be Blade. It's incredible.

..at least most people will want both, so it's not like one will a complete waste if I find a fresh case.

Not to say Marvel Legends wave 3 isn't looking really good, but I thought the regular Archangel was coming in wave 3 along with Jim Lee's Jean Grey.

I bet they switched out regular Archangel w/X-force Deadpool so that people would be more likely to team build with the SDCC exclusives. It makes sense but I don't have to like it lol.

I am however happy to finally be getting that Neo-classic Iron Man. I was hoping that would see release in the Legends line eventually.

Ya I'm with you, I hope I find Deadpool in retail as well which is the only one that I really want, but if anything I'll hold on to the order, even when it drops in your POL you can cancel it and get credit? Is that how it works?

The preorder says that Blade is a Punisher packing variant, not Deadpool's.

I did the same thing. I even added the 'collector grade'. I was never really sure I wanted to collect the Avengers line and now I'm sucked into paying over $12 a figure for the end product? I guess it beats $40-$70 a pop that the King Lokis and Laufeys went for.

I'd be ASTONISHED if the unnamed villain was anyone other than the chitauri soldier displayed in NYC's TRU. Though they did mention there'll be two of them, the leader and the soldier...

Dammit. All I really wanted was Deadpool. Now I have to preorder a case just to have a chance at him.

Seems like the bulk of Targets won't be carrying ML anymore. Where they once said 'Out of Stock', lots are now saying 'Not Available'. If that's true these guys are going to be harder to find than before.

AARGH. I feel the same way. BW is such a superior figure, but Hasbro can't get over their lady-fears.
