my 17 month old does a hulk smash and grunts. This is adorable even though last week he ejected the disc draw on our xbox and hulk smashed it (our spares and repairs console is now on eBay oops)

10'' toybiz figures are great,... they're big, pieces are too big to swallow, minimal articulation so they can pound and beat the crap out of them. I have like 5 different spiderman figures if you're interested. ... lmk I'd sell for $5 each + exact shipping.

My son and I have been collecting together since he was 3 years old ^_^ (He's 5 now)

Little guy loves anything avengers and is always very excited when we find a new figure for our shared collection. I'll set up Dio's with him and he gets to take down any figure off of my personal shelf so long as he plays nice, really adds a whole new level of enjoyment to the hobby.

Speaking of joy; the look on my boy's face when we first watched The Avengers movie damn near made me tear up, he just about exploded with excitement lol

awww...that's so cute. my eldest didn't seem all that bothered by it but to be fair he's not the sort of child that can sit quiet for 2 hours and concentrate on the screen. he really doesn't enjoy the cinema. He would much rather play action figures for hours. He craves constant attention. Maybe he will enjoy it more when he's older.

thats really kind of you ill let you know. ill have a look at them figures are they the ones form the 90s? i think i had a load of them a while back but sold them on.

I just bought my 14 month old a set of four Spider-Man board books. Not really a toy, but they are great since he tears the shit out of or eats any paper still.

They also had a set of Batman.

Thats awesome. A kid in front of my wife and I high fived his dad and then sat on his lap when Hulk smashed Loki. That damn near made me tear up. My son has made me soft...

i agree with that, i was 16, my son is now 7, he's my collecting partner, every payday we go into the wild and hunt for new figures or legos. today he sneaked a quick one on me while tryn to take pics to share on the mu appreciation thread lol.

I mentor an 8 year old boy. He loves looking through my collection and asking about all the different characters. We tried playing with them, but we really just ended up talking.

your so right and thank you, my boys are my life. i dont know what id do without them im so proud of how their both turning out. Thats why i write my blog so that they have it to read when their older. im lucky that im a stay at home dad while my wife works its amazing having so much time with them both.

Whenever we go on car rides, my 2 girls fight over who gets to hold Marvel Girl and who gets to hold Jean Grey. They definitely give me a good excuse to hit the toy aisles whenever I go to Target or Walmart!

if i had girls id be having so much fun looking for female super heroes. but my 5 year old says girls are rubbish. i have some of the marvel famous covers figures.

My 5-year-old and I regularly hang out in the toy section every time the family goes shopping. Her interests toy-wise fluctuate with her mood, but she really likes Power Rangers Samurai (mostly for "Daddy's Zords" and her role-play stuff), Transformers, Spider-Man, Captain America and Iron Man. There's a pic of her on Toyark somewhere wearing the Cap mask & shield and another wearing the IM mask.

She's also into Bakugan, but that's kind of her own thing.
