Iron Man

Iron-Man toys have been around a long time. One of the best attempts to do the line correctly was the 1996 ToyBiz Iron-Man Line. Not only did this line feature some of the best assortments for secondary characters:

Blacklash, Blizzard, Century, Crimson Dynamo, Dread-Knight, Grey Gargoyle, Hawkeye (Iron Man), Mandarin, Spider-Woman (Iron Man), Titanium Man, U.S. Agent (Iron Man), Whirlwind

The Iron-Man concept ToyBiz used was on-point. They Basically made a default Iron-Man sculpt with peg-holes in key places all over the body style. They then designed all of the armor to fit the one basic body type.

With very little remolding from the basic body type they created 12 of the best Iron-Man toys ever made. The best thing about this design was All of the Armor was removable and could be used with the other versions.

Tony Stark, Iron Man, Iron Man (Arctic Armor), Iron Man (Hologram Armor), Iron Man (Hydro Armor), Iron Man (Inferno Armor), Iron Man (Samurai Armor), Iron Man (Space Armor), Iron Man (Stealth Armor), Iron Man (Subterranean Armor), War Machine, War Machine 2

They started out with the Basic Tony Stark and worked their way down the line to War Machine 1 and 2.

If Hasbro were to take this idea and apply it to the new 3 3/4 Marvel Fury Files Line it would cut cost with no new tools for the body type, give the fans the ability to build an actual Hall Of Armor and make any armor set Hasbro wanted to produce very simple.

Check out the Line Up Below

Going along with this idea would be Madame Masque, Count Nefaria's daughter. She could easily be done with a tweaking bash of the Baroness/Scarlett molds and a new head.

Firestar was created for one of my favorite cartoons, Spider-man and his amazing friends. She was then brought into Marvel continuty with her own mini series and even joined the new Warriors.

Over the years we have only seen one figure of her, which was a Toy Fare Exclusive and recently a bust has been produced.

I'm all for Firestar, but I would want her in her classic uniform or perhaps the 2nd outfit she wore w/ the New Warriors...but not the suit George Perez designed for her while she hung w/ the Avengers!

Classic all the way for me.

And Destro, you are 100% correct on the 96 Iron Man line. The Silver Centurion Iron Man is still my favorite Iron Man to this day.

I love that ICEMAN figure. Although it was cool enough to buy 3 of it, I never could get the nerve to open any of them. I bet it would have been fun to play with.

New Captain America-While I don't particular like the idea of bringing someone back from the dead(which is typically involved a huge retcon), I love Ed Brubaker's writing and he is one of the few writers who can turn a crappy idea into an amazing story. Bucky, thought to be have died in WWII, returned to the Marvel Universe as the Winter Soldier, a Cold War assassin for the Russians, who later regains his memories and rejoins Captain America. Captain America is killed, and while Bucky knows he cannot be Steve Rogers, he tries his best to be Captain America, and ends up doing a great job. He knows he has huge shoes to fill but puts in great effort. Normally these kinds of stories suck but Ed Brubaker is a genius, and this story is excellent, a must have.

Not only is New Captain America a great character, he is involved in some of the recent Marvel storylines such as Secret Invasion, and will be involved in future Marvel storylines for next year. Hasbro is working closely with Marvel so that the character selection in Marvel Universe fits in well with what is currently going on in the Marvel Universe. That is another reason why New Captain America would be a great fit in this line, especially if he is featured prominently in Marvel's big events/crossovers next year.

I would not mind an evolutions set, Bucky-Winter Soldier-New Captain America. Accessories could be the numerous weapons that Winter Soldier used during the Cold War, Bucky's WWII accessories, and of course, New Captain America's pistol, knife, and shield.

Wolverine Brown and Tan Costume
Wolverine's classic yellow and blue is ok but the brown and tan is much better, how is he supposed to sneak up on people wearing yellow?

Daredevil needs more villians to fight than just Bullseye.

Terrax
We also need to see some cosmic heavyweights for this Marvel line...maybe a BAF.

Frog-Man
The Fabulous Frog Man is a young man who hoped to do good with the name of Frog Man. He clumsily tried to battle crime to redeem his father's name. He is able to leap great distances. Edit

Origin
Frog Man is the son of the super-villain Leap-Frog.

Powers
Frog suit gives the ability to super-jump. It's also possible that Frog Man has some sort of Luck powers.

No toyline can ever be complete without a lame character.

SpiderWoman (Jessica Drew)

Spiderwoman (Jessica Drew)
Bendis really pissed her fans off by replacing her with a Skrull after teasing us by bringing her back in New Avengers. Jessica Drew is one of my all time favourite characters and deserves an awesome toy. If you want to make it plot relevant I would accept them giving her an alternate skrull head which I would discard.

Shadowcat

Shadowcat's just an awesome character, between her and Jubilee I'd certainly pick her as the more interesting of Wolverine's younger-girl sidekicks, she's been an agent of shield, ninja, and much more. You could give her a lockheed and a Katana (harking back to her Ninja days under Ogun) as accesories.

I'd love to see her blue-jacket and face mask, but her X-men uniform is okay too.

The Beyonder
The major protagonist behind the Secret Wars (and secret Wars 2 if you care to remember that)and even an apperance in the 90's Spiderman series and he has still never recieved a figure. After all these years I think it's time for the Beyonder to be immortalized in Plastic.

The High Evolutionary
I remeber back in the early 90's there was a huge crossover called the Evolutionary war, and the High Evolutionary was the man behind it all. Another long running character who never recieved a figure. While the kids might not enjoy splicing genes with him, at least he looks cool.

Forbush Man

http://www.toyark.com/members/flint/albums/17/109.jpg

We got cheated out of this guy when Toy Biz lost the Marvel License so lets make up for it now.

Here's a little history on ol Irving
Irving Forbush was a fanboy janitor at Marvel Comics in the 1960s who wanted to get autographs of all the superheroes. Unfortunately, they all told him to get lost. Was it his breath, or his deodorant? Or all of the above, plus a few thousand other things?
Too stupid to be discouraged, Forbush returned home to his lovable Auntie Mayhem and Uncle Benny. When Auntie Mayhem complained that he was taking too long to clean the dishes and that he was a disgrace to Forbush-dom, Irving replied that if he was a superhero, he could clean the dishes in no time. A trifle upset at being answered so flippantly, Auntie Mayhem gently reprimanded her nephew by slamming a pot over his head.

This provided Irving with his inspiration for becoming a superhero! After cutting eyeholes in the pot, Irving took his long-johns, and became a superhero! Forbush-Man was born(not made)!

Forbush-Man's career began successfully, when the Juggernaut, while trying to attack him, tripped over Forbush-Man while he was tying his shoelace, and landed in a vat of quick-drying cement. Following this, every major villain in the Marvel Universe surrendered to Irving. A superhero was born, and he had his own comic, Not Brand Ecch.

To be honest i think that each wave should have a theme... That is after the first couple of waves to give a decent base to work from.

Be it Avengers, Brother of Evil Mutants, X-Factor, or the list goes on. Or even Capt America Vs then the enemies. Or even second tier characters linked with certain characters. Say... Sabertooth and Wildchild. or Mystique and Blink (with built in variant possibility), Capt America and Hawk or Buckey (alternate version being new Capt).

Ideas like that give collectors something to look forward to, and allows the line to expand without the constant repeats of the core figures.

Dazzler
Originally created to cash in on the disco craze, Dazzler exceeded expectations and had a pretty long running solo series. Later on she joined the X-Men, but in figure form I want to see her Disco Days represented.

Golly she makes me want to do bad things to my computer screen.

War Machine
War Machine needs a fury files fig with it's own mold. We know Hasbro loves repaints but come on, Rhodes deserves his own mold wouldn't you agree? He needs his own design and his own weapons, not a repeat of Iron Man's weapons. We need some heavy hitters to be released in this line and I'm all for War Machine.

Steelskulls

These would make a great Army Builder

The Steelskulls were a group of lackeys trained by the Taskmaster to aid the Grim Reaper in the capture of the Maggia leader, Madame Masque. During their attempt to capture Madame Masque, the Steelskulls were confronted by the Avengers. The Avengers quickly began to overpower the Steelskulls when Madame Masque sent her robotic Inner Guard into the fray. The three groups battled each other until Count Nefaria arrived. The Avengers quickly turned their attention towards Nefaria as the Steelskulls continued their attacks. The Vision soon dropped himself on Nefaria at maximum density, causing an impact that knocked all of the Steelskulls unconscious, where they remained for the rest of the battle against Nefaria.

The Wrecking Crew

http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0...cking-crew.jpg

The Wrecking Crew were formed when Dirk Garthwaite (Wrecker) was approached by Dr. Elliot Franklin with the task of retrieving a a gamma bomb Elliot(Thunderball) had designed, with the intent of ransoming New York for millions of dollars. Dirk manages to retrieve his enchanted crowbar, and during a lightning storm he tells Elliot and his fellow prisoners Henry Camp(Bulldozer) and Brian Calusky(Piledriver) to grip the crowbar simultaneously. A lightning bolt strikes the bar transforming the group into the Wrecking Crew.

These guys would make an excellent 4 pack.

Man, I'm lovin' a lot of these suggestions. I'd kill for both a disco Dazzler and an aerobicize Dazzler. High Evolutionary would be supremely cool, as would his Knights of Wundagore. And I'd kill for all of the first five Heralds of Galactus, which we know we're getting at least the Surfer. Terrax is easily the first of the remainders I want, but who wouldn't want FireLord and Nova as well? Admittedly, I could see Air-Walker being pretty low on the list, lol.

Another cool guy would be the Psycho-Man. Hailing from a sub-atomic universe; his machinery enables him to control others' emotions from afar, granting him ultimate mastery over all he wishes. He once used his powers to pervert Sue Richards' emotions so that she turned against the remaining FF as Malice, and demonstrated at last how she's undeniably the most powerful of the Four.
