What? That's Rogue's modern green outfit.

After looking at the Marvel Legends Emma, I have a feeling we will see a Scarlet Witch and Amora the Enchantress sometime in the future.

ZeoVGM 02-09-2013 10:13 PM

With the official pictures of the 3.75" Wolverine figures, they're definitely using the same articulation as the USM figures but much better detail. Honestly, I think I like the faces on these Logan figures than the ones in the XMO line.

Plus, $5.99, so I guess it's not a terrible balance.

snake5289 02-09-2013 10:19 PM

Looks like they have better claws too. May get the street clothes Logan to have a decent unmasked head.

jestermon 02-09-2013 10:24 PM

Ok whose the guy in the P suit?

After almost ten years of no jean (Wasn't Phoenix/Dark Phoenix the last one, back in 2005?), now there's three of them in one wave?

Wish it were green, because I hate the old ML Phoenix mold. But have to get Phoenix, and Jim Lee Jean is the highest priority figure of 2013 for me.
May or may not bite on AoA.

Need Rogue (Like that costume), and White Queen.

Puck being a BaF is disappointing as he'd be a figure I'd want, otherwise. Don't want to collect a bunch of MLs I don't want just for him.

As for the MUs... Want Rogue and White Queen. Cant remember anything else that stands out... pass on everything else.

Yay! We are finally getting regular MU Cap with the new Commander Rogers body (I think that's his mold). The old MU Cap looked decent, but was kinda shrimpy IMO and the Cap movie Cap was too thick/fat IMO. I love the Commander Rogers mold... wish they redid all the old figs with that mold. *cough* Moon Knight *cough* LOL.

warmachine6 02-10-2013 04:03 AM

ML's FTW
Emma frost finally looks decent ! (must have on my list)
Rouge defiantly
tempted to sabretooth and possibly cyclops :S (if i find the money)
bulldozer omfg !!! better than i thought (time to collect the crew)
archangel variant i need to get !!!

looking at the lady head sculpts i think Hasbro fell over hit their heads on something and said make the ladies look beautiful (got some common sense for once) and the idea that we're seeing latest costumes now
SO excited :D

all i can say is

Primacron 02-10-2013 05:34 AM

So Abomination/A-Bomb are a slight remold of Rhino, perhaps a bit smaller than they should be but great to get those characters.

Very happy to get a Leader as well, seems like the Hulk and Thor supporting characters/villains are doing well.

FadeToBlackBolt 02-10-2013 05:36 AM

What an awful wave for Marvel Legends. The X-Men/Wolverine Legends figures are vastly superior.

Seriously, what crack-head decided we needed 3 Jean figures?

and at the same time I'm thinking why does EVERYONE have the same build and height as a SUPER SOLDIER (looks at puny parker). Some characters do need this mold, but Spidy should have had the Scarlet Spider (hoodie one) updated with a new neck. While I love Nova, I also don't think of Richie as being the same size as Cap.

As for this new cap, I may try to get it and splice it together with a Wave 1 Ultimate Cap upper torso to keep the texture.

avcprime 02-10-2013 06:35 AM

if Hasbro can't get switching the line variants on time, it might kill the wave again. I still have not seen a red deadpool, and stores think it is the same wave and might not ordered. Thanks hasbro for such a great idea.

Ones in MU scale that I don't remember ever seeing before:
Abomb andAbomination
Silver Samurai (and ninja repaint)
Skurge and Valkyrie
Leader
The new Falcon mold
The new Hulk mold
and I remember hearing about Cloak and Dagger, but don't remember seeing them

Wait! A MU LEADER! wha? is he in the pics?

I think leader is gonna come out in the avengers cartoon line, looks like a kit bash of some mu legs, the avengers movie line skrull torso, random arms, and a new headsculpt.

Which is fine by me, I've got plenty of figs from other lines just sayin

MarvelTF918 02-10-2013 10:27 AM

Cloak and Dagger = Great, but shouldn't Cloak be the buffer MU male mold?
New Iron Man = Pass
A-bomb & Abomination = Definitely getting both
Thor pack = No question
Elektra = Meh
Mysterio = On sight

Exodus 02-10-2013 10:41 AM

Yes most of these new MU/ML look pretty dang good, but as I stated before retail distribution is going to frustrate collector's on these. Online retailers is all good and what not but when you want just a few characters instead of the whole case paying 15 for a single MU's and almost 20 for ML kind of kills buying them individually. At retail the last wave for MU I saw was the SW wave and ML was only wave 2. Yet online retailer's have almost the last 2 waves out. Yet they seem to pump out the TF's like crazy...so ya retail needs to get there ass moving if they want our $!!

warmachine6 02-10-2013 11:09 AM

@Exodus dont forget the one thing we all love is the taxes and postage costs

also wanna say on thanks for uploading the pictures whoever did great work

Exactly so come on retail! Another fear is with the movie stuff coming out soon, these regular lines may get pushed even further back.

looks like we are gonna be spoiled for choice, that red skull looks sweet :)

jimsloth 02-10-2013 01:43 PM

So I just read that the Avengers Assemble line is supposed to have 10 figures in it but I'm only counting 8. Anyone know who I'm missing?

Cap, Ultimate Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Hulk, Falcon, Red Skull, Leader.

Yeah it's nice to see that finally showing up as a retail release. It looks like the 2009 SDCC exclusive invaders box set red skull.

It is weird... but it doesn't bother me that Commander Rogers/Cap, Punisher, Daredevil, etc. are all the exact same size. I mean like... I expect Thor and Hulk to be bigger than everyone else and a few characters to be slight smaller... but in my mind I pretty much consider all the normal human sized superheroes to be the same size.

I know, I want Moonstar and now it looks like I'll never get her.
