The sculpts are cool but I wish the smaller figures would have full articulation. So far the only consistent joints are hips, shoulders, and neck, and some aren't hinges but cut/swivel joints.

Wish the smaller figures were all on par with the 1st 4 Turtles released in this line last year.

I'm all for a "Mega Mutants" subline so Dogpound, Leatherhead, Snakeweed, and Spiderbytz can all get bigger, more articulated, and have better paint apps.

Some awesome parts here for customs.

At least the raph super hero suit from the CG movie. Kind of want to make one now.

from what I've seen, you didn't miss much. These should have usable articulation.

I'm referring to the Classics line that nobody around me carries. I know there were the four turtles, but I must have missed the release of Shredder and Splinter since they now have Bebop and Rocksteady coming out.

Bebop and Rocksteady look awesome. My only complaint is the lack of other important characters like Shredder, Splinter, Casey Jones, April, Foot Soldier, among others.

They're only two waves in on a line that frankly was a gamble to bring to retail at all. So you might want to cut them a little slack - especially since Classics was originally announced as only the four turtles and nothing else.

No you didn't. Shredder and Splinter are not currently in the Classics line, and I have yet to hear if they will be a future release. Wave One was Leo, Raph, Don and Mike and wave two is Bebop and Rocksteady.

There may have been something in the Toy Fair news posts, but I'm still sifting through it all.

Wait, what? Why would they do Bebop and Rocksteady before Shredder and Splinter? That is dumb.

Maybe they figured "B&R haven't gotten new figures in almost 20 years. This might be a nice thing to do."

MintCondition 02-12-2013 04:25 PM

Could be due to fan demand. It also could be them not wanting to throw every major character out so close together, and to keep the line alive with the slightly smaller characters. It's called business strategy.

I think when referring to the classic cartoon Bebop and Rocksteady are more memorable before Shredder and Splinter.
Shredder and Splinter are ninja which is everywhere these days. Bebop and Rocksteady are truly TMNT. Though I don't think the sculpts do the show justice though they are really cool representations of Bebop and old Rocksteady.

TimothyR 02-13-2013 12:28 AM

i guess some of you have never heard of a "grand finale" lol.

they need to give you something to wait for..

i'm pretty certain we will be getting a shredder and a splinter.

the other that i'd REALLY like to see is krang with his android body.. but something tells me that he might be too big to be profitable. and with how choosey and cheap (or strapped for cash) people are, i doubt that'll ever happen.

there aren't that many MAIN characters from the old show. they could give us all of them.. after all, the turtles didn't stay on the shelves for very long.

either way.. i'm glad to see this resurgence in the turtles. there have been several occasions where i've seen kids excited about seeing the turtles in stores.

where have you been? lol

Robogeek28 02-14-2013 08:47 AM

If the Classics Bebop & Rocksteady sell well then the Classics line will continue. So buy up those Turtles and morons everybody.
