Have you seen Beast Saga yet? Those are pretty damn close.

MegsTriggerMan 02-21-2013 10:54 AM

1. Thundercats (yeah it will be a while till this happens again after the recent epic failure.)
2. Mask (as everyone else has stated, in 3 3/4)
3. Robotech
4. Jayce and Wheeled Warriors ( again 3 3/4 scale but with story accurate toys)
5. SilverHawks

TheLoudMaster 02-21-2013 11:33 AM

SOTA Street Fighter!

I need more...

Colder Soldier 02-21-2013 11:51 AM

Exo Squad.

1/18th scale so I guess they'd be fairly expensive. No rainbow/neon colors. Just all types of bad ass looking multipedal weapons, suits, and armored mecha. I want more mechs for my Joes...

MASK. Done the same scale as GIJOE. Give us remakes of all the classic stuff and then expand into modern vehicles.

As you can see, my vote goes to M.A.S.K.! And it would be so great to get them in Joe scale.
In 2010, when Hasbro released Matt Trakker in the Joe line, it was exciting. I thought Mask was going to make a comeback but we haven't heard anything since. It would be nice to see a Mask line on the toy shelves.

trebleshot 02-21-2013 12:41 PM

I'll definitely throw in with the MASK votes. But here are some others I'd like to see as well:

Visionaries
Silverhawks
ExoSquad
GoBots (as their own line, separate from TFs)
DinoRiders
Centurions
Inhumanoids

And from the other side of the pond:
Brave Saga
Machine Robo

sabretoothe 02-21-2013 01:13 PM

bmorr 02-21-2013 01:22 PM

Starcom Rules, same scale as the originals though.

Treble was right on with GoBots too...

How about making almost all of the Transformers have Die-Cast Metal parts again!!! That is the only thing that I HATE about the newer stuff!!! Call me old school, the G1 stuff will always be superior because of the real metal parts...

That is all.

So Ill probably be the only one to mention this but

Middle Earth Toys Lord of the Rings.

Really awesome line that had like 9 figures with lots of variants including:

Frodo (3 variants I believe including Hobbit, Lothlorian and Barrowdowns)
Gandalf (3 variants, Grey, White and Previews Grey)
Balrog (4 variants...can't remember them all)
Barrow-wight
Gladeril (2 variants)
Gimili (Lothlorian and Battle damage)
Gollum (3 versions)
Nazgul (3 versions)
Uglug or something (Orc, 3 versions)

There was also plans to do an Elrond but he never got released.

These figures were HIGHLY detailed and had decent articulation. They also came with a boat load of accessories. Also they all came with a hexagonal stand piece which was part of a Middle Earth map which I think if a enough figures were released would make the map in whole.

One of my favorite toylines of all time and it is deeeaaaaddddd.

My choice would be a Big Trouble in Little China 3 3/4" action figure line. Just a cult classic and it would be fun to mix in the characters with other 3 3/4" action figure lines. Then you could have Thunder, Rain and Lightning vs Thor or Jack Burton with a light saber.

denmasterprime 02-22-2013 06:41 AM

1. Mego (when they had DC, Marvel and lots of other licenses)
2. Big Jim (oh Google them, they were awesome)
3. Exo-Squad in 3 3/4
4. Spiral Zone

While a BTILC toy line would be insanely awesome, it's not a pre-existing toy line. The idea for this thread is about taking a toy line that previously existed but is currently dead and resurrecting it. Basically do the same thing for other properties that has been done with Thundercats, MOTU, TMNT and most recently, Power Lords.

Having said that, if someone ever gets the rights to do a toy line on BTILC, I would be all-in and please have a companion line based on Escape From NY. Pretty please?

boombatty 02-22-2013 08:47 AM

I'd resurrect Marvel Universe.

Deth of teh line and all that lol.

Actually, there was a line of Big Trouble in Little China toys. One series of figures were released in the early 2000's, but they were horrible sculpts with almost no articulation. It's one of my favorite movies of all time and even I was able to pass up on the figures. Kind of wish now that I didn't, as they go for crazy prices on eBay.

But a HUGE hell yes to Escape From NY toys. I would love that!

Wow, I don't remember them at all. Maybe my brain did a memory dump after seeing them the first time. If it did, I wish I could remember how, 'cause I've got a few more memories I'd like to purge.

Hell yeah, in the 3.75 scale, it would be easier to have the porkchop express

bigkid24 02-22-2013 11:04 AM

There are some great ideas already noted so I'm going with resurrecting the crappy Elfquest line of figures but in 4" size so we can get wolves and playsets. The 4 figures they did at the 6 or 7" scale were horrible and way too big.

scarecrow 02-22-2013 01:45 PM

Just would bring back Pursuit of Cobra.

Or, if we're talking real toy lines, Z-Bots!!! Could be part of a Micro Machines revival. I love Z-Bots.
