You sure? I vaguely recall both BG and Buck Rogers having some (rare-ish) scale vehicles.

RockWill 02-23-2013 08:46 PM

3.75 scale Big Trouble in little China figures FTW! would also love the following in 3.75 scale.

1. Young Guns I & II
2. Tombstone
3. Universal Soldier
4. Lost Boys

I would love a 1/18th Blondie. The rest would just be icing.

Man, I would love this line! Add in some horses, Lee Van Cleef's different outfits from TGBU and maybe even the rest of the trilogy figures (Indigo and his gang, Van Cleef as the Colonial, etc...).

OFFICIAL TRAILER - THE FALL - YouTube

I would love figures from this movie.

I absolutely LOVE that movie. Holy crap. So good.

I'd have to give my vote to "The Road"

i just think we're missing out on a lot of awesome post apocalyptic characters... or maybe iRobot, just for all the robots.

Maverick 02-23-2013 10:15 PM

Young guns

Didn't Neca do Keifer Sutherland in the Lost Boys as a figure? I'm sure I've seen one. No Jason Patrick or the two Coreys though

OT: I would of loved a Hobo with a shotgun line for figures of these two
http://cinematichorrorarchive.files....the-plague.png

And, obviously, Dredd. The full whack: Dredd, Anderson, Mama, Kay, random perps andlawmaster bikes

now Buck Rogers had a couple that were in scale. the draconian raider and starfighter. I think even a landrover but not sure on that one.

Buck Rogers had a full line of vehicles and figures - even a playset. If you want to see them, go to my website in my signature. On my blog, they are under the Mego tab, or you can find them under the January 2010 archive tab (January 4th specifically), or under the 1970's tab. On Facebook they are alphabetical in the photos.

thetoybox1138 03-01-2013 08:31 AM

There are several movie lines (and TV shows) I would have liked to have seen figures for. Some have been said already.

Spaceballs
Back to the Future
Revenge of the Nerds
Superman (Christopher Reeves movies)
Batman (60's TV series - This one is actually coming out this July)

Those are just a few that come to mind.

ersico 03-01-2013 08:34 AM

flight of the navigator :) i want the aliens that the ship keeps

bmorr 03-01-2013 08:53 AM

There was actually a toy line planned for that which unfortunately was cancelled. See the attached photo of prototypes from Galoob.

Some great suggestions so far. Here are a few of mine:

Pink Panther (live-action, Peter Sellers)
Dr. Strangelove
Casino Royale
A-Team (based on the TV series, not the film. They can reuse the van, though)
American Ninja
Night Hawk
Blue Thunder (I vaguely remember some of it, but a new line with current toy tech)
Airwolf
Tango & Cash
Under Siege

Sure we have gotten a billion Predators and finally a Dutch. But what about Dillon, Mac, Blain, Billy (especially a Billy HAHAHA), Hawkins and Poncho? Even add Anna in there.

There were some Joes in the 25th line that fit the bill nicely, though I'd agree I'd love something official. Especially if it was 1:18th scale.

All good choices.

The Spirit Iron Knife from Pursuit of Cobra could be Billy in a pinch.

Here's some more movies that would be sweet as action figures.

Speed: All the passengers, a 1:18 scale bus that splits open so it's a playset and a vehicle and an elevator shaft playset would be cool.

Twister: IDK how but the cow needs to be in it somehow.

orwell3825 03-01-2013 01:17 PM

James Bond is a great choice. I would like to see Blade Runner or Sucker Punch

There were some minimates. I have Magneto, Mystique, Beast and Azazel.

OK, so they got three figures, but that's not even half.

This. Would have snagged a Kaylee and an Inara.

I've seen a couple of garage kits of the gunstar. But they cost way too much

Meteor Man
Fast5/6 etc.
Resident Evil Extinction+
UltraViolet
Oceans Eleven (new and classic)
Under Siege
Dollhouse (Made for tv movie ftw!)
Generation X (Fox live movie from the 90s)
Fox Nick Fury (Hasselhof version from the 90s)
Riddick
Green Hornet (Seth Rogan movie)
Black Mask
Vampire Effect

But yeah, the problem is most of these are not 1/18th scale lines with kid sales potential.

There are probably more stars not in these movies that I'd want 1/18th scale figures of too in appropriate to them action attire.

Ok, this is gonna make me feel old but I'll say

KRULL!

The good guys always win. Even in the 80s. Wasn't there a couple of hot wheels or matchbox toys of 2 of the vehicles?

The A-team did have a small toyline. I still have my Mr. T action figure.

Yep, along with Recondo as Blaine, Duke v2. as Dutch and Shadow Tracker as the Predator. ;)

A poet who didn't know it, as they say. :D

True, but as the OP said, these are supposed to be movies and TV shows that either didn't have a toyline OR got one that was underwhelming. IMHO, the original A-Team toyline falls into the latter category. YMMV, of course.
