You poor soul,:p the only character im missing from hammer is black widow and the 5 varients and i could easily get black widow at my local comic shop for $11.99.

But it's very nerve racking (to me at least) to get the bids in on time for Hasbro or BBTS to insure that I'll get the figures because I KNOW they don't appear in my area.

Speaking of which, has anyone actually seen the variants? I really want the variant Vision, Cage, Warpath and Black Widow, and have never seen them at all. Were they ever released?

Patriot has an okay color scheme, but the mold is meh. Not sure if I'll pick it up.

Spider is a must have for me.

MJ is really not for me.Ugh.

Skrull has a really nice head sculpt, awesome guns, but WHY use the skinny Torch legs?? Probably gonna pick it up.

Soldier is a pass. Neck too long, too generic. His cyber arm is okay.

Don't care for wrecker.

Is the Skrull based off of any art or is it just a mishmash of Skrull art from over time?

I just wondered since it has the fancy armor & space looking ray guns, as opposed to the jumpsuit and u shaped blaster thing like the others.

It's probably somewhat the concept art you'll see on the box... I can't remember; Who is doing the art on these boxes again?

Ugh, Iron Patriot is just basically an Extremis repaint. No one seems to be able to get the upper legs right. Oh well, new custom project it is!

I take it you mean the Skrull soldier? The Skrulls are a race of aliens who have the ability to change their shape, and also have become proficient at engineering powers into members of their race to duplicate Earth's heroes. They were foes of the Fantastic Four a lot, were featured in the company-wide "Secret Invasion" storyline. Wikipedia has a decent summary of it.

Even the head isn't appropriate. The original MU Iron Man head is even better. The thing is just a lame repaint all around when it should've been awesome.

They were also heavily featured in the avengers as well.
The kree skrull war, operation galactic storm, among other cosmic level stories including the annihilation wave.

Most prominently recently they were in Secret invasion which is where it looks like this uniform came from.
