Yeah, that War Machine design is pure awesome, maybe the best mold in the line. It's just finding a decent paint app is a challenge. I'll probably fully support the future inevitable repaints from Hasbro, cuz it doesn't seem you can really go wrong with it...;).
To behold it in a Marvel Legends sized is gonna be spectacular. Because the Marvel Select 7 inch scale was totally off & lacking.

nomad1632 04-19-2010 09:43 PM

the thing with the paint on war machine basically watch for the eyes if their good its fine if there are silver paint issues they can be fixed easily if its missing silver in a area us a silver paint pen like Pen Touch silver it matches perfectly and doesn't ware off, and if you have some over spray of silver you can use a black sharpy it blends it back into the gunmetal black.

I don't want to sound like a hater, but what's so special about this figure? I get that is has extra hands, but what else is special? How's the articulation? does it come with a base/stand with an arm, or something? Or are people just freaking out because 'zomg h00g moovie war mahcine so cool lololol'?

Stand it next to a 3 3/4' figure, and you'll see for yourself. And what a question to ask. Of course I'm gonna hunt these down. They'll go well with my Hot Toys figures... assuming those bastards ever come in stock.

deceptifocus 04-19-2010 09:52 PM

i kind of have a feeling this might awaken some more Legends lovin. but as i and alot others have stated, these did not come out tonight. i ohnestly also think this week is a bit optemistic. i scoured my back room today and didnt see anything, usually when theres a dated release or movie type item the product sits in the back until the release date, but atleast in my store, theres NOTHING back there :(. also has anyone got the UPC for these? might make it easier to find them on a telxon.

Guneagle01 04-20-2010 04:14 AM

I went to my Wal-Mart today and they didn't have them, I looked around the entire toy section to see if they stuck them somewhere else, but nothing.

MegaPrime33 04-20-2010 05:19 AM

I dont really have any walmarts near me that are convenient enough for me to go to, so sadly, no hunting for me.

T16skyhopp 04-20-2010 05:58 AM

My walmart was moving Iron Man stuff around this morning, but no new stuff was put out. Will check again later tonight because I am stupid.

More on ebay this morning from CA.
Also two from China. The CA ones seem to have the multilingual packaging, but the china ones are def the English/WM packaging. Its totally possible the US destined onesare just now shipping from china.

Hi decade333. They are available in Malaysia, but not at retail (yet). They're RM70 each (roughly US$20 for most other readers here).

I was tempted to buy when I saw them last Friday, but figured I'd wait for them to hit retail when prices should come down...

jestermon 04-20-2010 06:24 AM

I got my 6inch fix in the old Iron Man movie line. I am all about the new smaller figures this time.

How m7uch has the price skyrocketed for those now?

well the 6inch figures from the first movie price wise are the same with the exceptions of the concept series which really never got into stores after the first wave. if you were lucky to get those when the first got online to buy then you got them at a good price. figures like the heavy artillery, subterranean armors, atmospheric diving, stealth striker armors are all super expensive ranfing from $30.99 to over $100.00 not including shipping.

DarthDre758 04-20-2010 07:24 AM

My local Wally has had the IM2 end cap up for at least a week...and no room for these. There are about ten pegs for the ATV IM...with seven of them filled. I only want War Machine. Is that too much to ask!?

nomad1632 04-20-2010 07:42 AM

Ive seen a ton of the atv iron mans and like 8 pegs just for the arc reactors.

More than likely but the China seller had them a couple weeks ago too, that's where the one that got reviewed came from, same guy. I'd say he held on to a few to get even more money as the movie approaches. Stuff gets here a bit and sits in a distribution warehouse before it's sent out, month or so usually. You could very well be right though. Way things are going right now who knows?

IM2 6" inch line, am disappoint.

T16skyhopp 04-20-2010 08:37 AM

I just cant imagine a situation where every walmart has these in the back and none have leaked out. I'm mad at myself from getting involved in rumored hype. I'm gonna chill out until there's sighting or ebay listings in the US.

Unfortunately I'll never own any of those concept armors as I'm not gonna pay so much for one fig. As long as we get at least one more concept exclusive similar to the TRU 3 pack I'll be happy.

I don't think they do all have them. It's sporadic. I got Bludgeon about a month before most people did, even guys an hour away from me with their own local stores. Sometimes they get things about a month before mine does, that's how unreliable Wal-Mart distribution is. It's a fact. I have been in the back before and saw things a month or so ahead of schedule, I've also seen things that should've been put out six months to a year ago. It is that messed up back there and I'm sure not every store is like that.

Look at it like this, it's coming out in two weeks. Are they going to lose out on money by letting all the other stores get their exclusives out and weaken the demand/market? No. Will everyone get them at the same time, another no. Most stores are redoing there sections for it so will it be soon? Yes.

I will get as many as I can, especially if our store sets them out early like they said. I will help whoever I can. It is aggravating, I've been yanked around a bit myself.

What 6" Mark 4 is that? I don't think I've seen it.

I think he might mean the one RDJ was holding at Toy Fair, but I havent even seen any images of it yet, so god knows how long before it comes out

here's 2 pics I attached of the mark 4 that you were wondering about I'm guessing its part of wave 2 if there will be one or another type of exclusive??

Ok gang, I went to see of we had stocked up on the IM figures/isle/endcaps and yes, There is a complete endcap dedicated to the IM2 figures/accessories!! I even saw the Target exclusives, the ones that have the arc as a stand. The pic is not that well since it's my moto V360. So if you are in the 305 area head over to your nearest target. I also passed by the nearby TRU and did not see the famous 3 pack. I did however get my dirty paws on the red eye/arc 3 3/4" WM, I'll have to return the blue eye/arc to Kmart later on.
I've called two different WMarts and they tell me that they do not have any of the 6" IM2 figures and have no idea when "if" they'll get any, :( I may have no other choice but to waste gas....dammed Walmart

May be...the question is who gets it.

As always I'll keep ya'll posted.

Apparently this figure is one hot tamale, Toywiz.com just raised it's price by ten bucks!!! Dayam.....so much for the interwebs *n*

trebleshot 04-20-2010 01:56 PM

I'm going after War Machine first and foremost and I might get IM as an impulse buy later on (if he's still available).

Now all I have to do is find the damn things. Luckily, I'm within about 10-15 minutes of about 7 different Wal-Marts in my area. So I will most likely be rotating through them until a WM turns up at one of them.

TheSymbiote 04-20-2010 02:37 PM

Ok ,i want both 6inch figures just as much as anybody .but i dont understand why people are freaking out like hasbro is only gonna make 500 of each figure and then stop making them.im sure once they are released and everyone on toyark gets them ,they will be shelf warmers.i dont think it would be necessary to be forced to buy them online.its not like they're MOTUC that are gone in 7 minutes
