you can still get the four turtles.. they come in the case with bebop and rocksteady.

today i posed the turtles the way they're posed on the back of the packaging. leo was a little tricky since he's only on one leg.

Awesome score. Good to see them on the east coast so soon after Cali. On the other hand DOH! I am in PA and just got them on eBay thinking it'd be a while. :)

Picked them up in Winchester VA. They had 6 Rocksteadys and one Bebop. No other Turtles

well.. i remember when the turtles first got released.. i only saw them once or twice in stores, until recently.. so.. if you were to miss the restock...you may not see them for a while.. it's better to be safe than sorry.

None in my area yet. *sigh*

Thanks for making me feel better. :) That is true tho, took a while for me to get a hold of the first wave Turts. And, I was able to get a full shoot up today rather than post Thanksgiving, so that's a bonus.

Man.. i ABSOLUTELY love rocksteady.. he was always my favorite of the two when i was younger.. and he's definitely my favorite now. he just looks so badass.. and i love his weapons. i love that he's able to hold his gun with two hands and looks proper doing it.. some toys are able to hold their guns with two hands, but not all of them are able to aim it and look proper while doing so.

the only time i wouldn't overpay for a figure is if one shows up early on ebay, one that's either stolen from the factory, or is a sample figure.. eventually that kind of stuff will be WAY less and usually abundant in stores.

but with stuff like this, i think overpaying is appropriate.. especially when it comes to this, like i said, who knows how many times they'll restock in the near future.. and if they do, who knows how many times they will. and if they're like the turtles were, they'll be difficult to find, which means you've also cut out the cost of gas for making trips to find them.

i remember when i found the V2 shredder.. after i saw it the first time, i didn't see it for a LONG time afterwards.. and there are plenty of toys that i've only seen in stores once.

Ankles and better paint apps would've made these guys pretty much perfect, ah well.

I haven't been a TRU in awhile. Thankfully the holidays give me a perfect excuse!

i agree.. pivoting ankle joints would've been great.. and i'm fine with the paint.. i just wish they had painted the goggles on rocksteady's helmet.

Just for the sake of comparison, here's the two next to a couple of customs I'd done years ago.

I picked them both up a couple of weeks ago. My local TRU had about 8 Rocksteadys and 3 Bebops. I was able to look through and get the best of the best. Some had a little paint spots where they shouldn't be, etc. The 4 turtles were no longer available on the shelves though, But I do already have them. Really hoping they continue with this line, I believe they last said they were taking a wait and see approach, depending on fan demand...
