Which makes a lot of sense seeing that the Cap and Ironman match MU figures we have seen and Hyperion and Grim Reaper match what Hasbro showed us at SDCC for their new 3 3/4" line. Idk where Marvelous News got their info, but I also thought I remembered reading some where Avengers Infinite was going to be the new lines new name anyways so Im not sure why other than the typo people are assuming this isn't the new 3 3/4" series.

The Toyark network is the ONLY forum where people don't believe they are 4 inchers even with pics! No wonder I rarely come back here. :p

That's why we haven't posted it on the front page, until we know for certain the true information. That's how rumors get started you know:P

Thanks for the link. Looks like you could have a non-phasing Mysterio cloak from Grim Reaper if you wanted.

Kou197 12-27-2013 11:10 AM

That Cap looks like it's from the new 6 inch Marvel Legends Infinite Series BAF line.

wasp is perf

Exodus 12-27-2013 07:50 PM

I hope these hit retail, if not I may see if my LCS can order these...

Captain Nash 12-27-2013 08:35 PM

OMG. Been off the radar for the past week and just am now seeing all of this. This is wonderful. I truly hope this is indeed 3 and 3/4 inch figures....not only would it take care of my #1 most wanted figure (THank you Hasbro for making Wasp) but also another top five figure on my list with Grim Reaper.

Even if it is 6 inch though, it would still take care of my #3 most wanted Legend figure (again Reaper.)

So either way it's a win, but I'm really leaning towards the smaller scale.

I will be buying Wasp and GR as soon as they show up online at whatever the cost is.....and will get Hulk and Hyperion when costs go down.

Perhaps they did up-size the Marvel Universe version for ML.
However that one is the MU one. I have one right here on my desk.
It is very annoying they keep repacking Cap & Iron Man. We already had that Iron Man twice before. The Cap while new has already been in a revision case!

I Like These Figures. Finally Made A Wasp And Marvel NOW Hulk But Are They Gonna Make A Superior Spider-Man?

SuperiorNerd 12-28-2013 03:50 PM

What Does Marvel Mean By Platinum Figures Anyway?

Lol that comic seems about right.

I loved the Bleeding Edge armor, and all, but it's been done to death. Almost as much as the Extremis armor. They just keep using the BE sculpt over and over with basically no color variety, and it's boring.

bmorr 12-29-2013 08:28 PM

im guessing theyre using that IM for one of teo reasons:

1. The manufacturer overproduced said figure, and needed to find a reason to unload them, by repackaging them.

2. the bleeding edge armor resembles the mark 42 from IM3, and kids/parents would identify with it.

redfox 12-30-2013 11:03 AM

Wasp looks great! I can't wait to see more pics of these.

Ninjinister 12-30-2013 10:22 PM
