I had some girlfriends that just didn't really comment on it at all. But then I had some (wife included) that were cool with it. Go on hunts with me. Get me toys for gifts. Etc. Never been with anyone that looked down on the hobby luckily.

Yeah. The worst are the ones that say and act that collecting is "cute" and are supportive of it... then the ring goes on the finger and the first dictate before the "And you may now kiss the bride" is even said... "You need to sell all your junk! I want to put an yoga/meditation area in that room!"

I have 3 main Hobbies Comic Books, Action Figures, and Civil War Reenacting. I've actually said accept me for me if not Take a Hike. Odds are shes probably not actually Worth the Effort. Confidentiality the longer you went on you'd of probably found a Room Full of Barbie Dolls, she'd never realize the Correlation. Most People look at the Photos of my Jurassic Park/World Setup and Love it.

As others have mentioned, just find someone that accepts you for who you are.

My wife thinks I'm weird, I think she has cooties, all good, we get along....

i'm a (trans) woman who collects toys i already have enough stuff counting against me from a dating perspective so why not go the whole hog lol

i feel like most people in my age group are nerds these days anyway, so
