Just buy a bootleg Vegeta for the time being. From pics he looks fine and can hold you off until a legit one gets reissued then you got a spare Saiyan armour body for trunks, or something.

I know 0% about DBZ, but the figures look well done, and I've been super enjoying the photo galleries.

No, I cannot do that. One, I do not intentionally support bootlegs. Two, it would also be wrong of me to support bootlegs when I have friends that work for Funimation.

Thought Funamation would only give a damn about bootleg dvds. But okays, to each his own.

One of our anime conventions got sued by Funimation because they were selling bootlegs in the dealer's room. The Funimation rep informed the heads of the convention this 10 times and they did absolutely nothing. It turned out that the table belonged to the guy in charge of the convention. :eek:

Yeah, me either. I am happy that they did, but it is odd given the rest of the line, before and after.

Hopefully they do another in Saiyan armor with better SS hair, or Jacketless to mimic the last eps of the Cell Saga when he returns home.

It's one of those strange things. Like a company could reissue said bootlegged thing, and put a stop to the nonsense. Like in the case of Vegeta, if I didn't have the real one, I'd get the bootleg one to hold me over. Now, I know it isn't Bandais fault that SSJ Vegeta goes for a shit ton of money [along with First App Vegeta] but they need to watch that kind of stuff to at least reissue those kind of figures to put a big dent in the bootleg thing. As I said, it's all very strange.

I think there's a weird thing with them and their Tamashii Nations web exclusives too. Kickback and the guys over at Tokunation explained it to me at SDCC but I dunno if I fully remember. Like, if it's a Japanese web store only exclusive, it can be released here as a general release. If it's a Japan wide release, it's limited here. Or something.

And, not reprinting those that are Japan store exclusives is a thing, I think.

Now, that mid range of releases in the line went to Japan web exclusive status because they were not selling at mass retail there. The US Market is doing much better for them. So if that's all the case, then it's possible their own rules won't allow reprinting those expensive pieces.

Hopefully someone with more Tamashii / Bluefin knowledge can clarify all that.

If it is MonsterArts, Dragonball, or Sailor Moon related, Bluefin has all rights to release everything. They can release Sentai Figuarts as long as Saban has no objection to it. On the other hand, they can NOT release anything Kamen Rider related that is a web exclusive in Japan. Also, they were denied the license of Gaim, possibly because of its high demand in Japan and they only produced enough for the Japanese market. They can not release any thing else Toku, such as SPace Sheriffs and Metal Heroes (like B-Fighter) regardless of its release in Japan because there is no US market for those items.

Oh man, that SDCC Gohan is waaay better than normal release. Glad I got it.

And if you ever need to put a down payment on a car, you can do that too then :).

I got SDCC Gohan, SSJ Vegeta, Trunks and SSJ3 Goku. Out of my "going for a dumb amount of money these days" figures.

HOWEVER, that god damn clip that came with Goku to clip the energy effects on his flight stand broke.

I don't have Manga Gohan, but I have Gohan. I don't have SS3 Goku, but I Have Goku (and tomorrow SS Goku arrives). I don't have SS Vegeta, but I have Vegeta.

That's how I was collecting for a while. One of each character was good enough. Then I had to get normal Vegeta even tho I had SS. And normal Goku even tho I had SDCC SS Goku. And then I got SDCC Vegeta this year. And then I said F it I'm getting them all. :)

That was my mistake Tony, I said "one for each character is good enough for me"

HOW GOD DAMN DUMB I WAS. Now I never miss out. 1st App Vegeta... my biggest regret.
