I honestly can't see how, in the end, they aren't going to make the two related.

I think Marvel will cop-out eventually and connect Pym and Ultron. Maybe Ultron will get relegated to an Ant-Man movie villain later.

I saw the 2 packs at fred Meyers (local grocery store) today. I doubt my kids will want them (my 4 year old complained that the GOTG 2.5" milano didn't fit his 3.75" stuff glad I only paid $7.50 for it) but the sculpts didn't look bad.
Iron man and war machine appear to come with riding lawn mowers. Based on this I think in avengers 2 ultron compromises Jarvis and rhodey and tony get stuck mowing the lawn at avengers mansion.

I wouldn't mind the new minifigs if they could get the poseability of say the Megabloks Halo assassin's creed and COD Minifigs. The playset looks like it'd be awesome for those.

My thoughts looking at it is hum, looks like Hasbro is trying to do the GI Joe Sigma Six thing all over again with small figures and vehicles. Considering how bad that experiment crashed and burned I don't think the chances are good for tiny lack of articulation taking off this time just because it's got Avengers slapped on it instead of GI Joe.

With Lego Marvel mini-figures out there what's really the point in having another small figure?

But honestly with how bad action figures are doing I sometimes wonder if there is any sort of scale that can bring about another golden age for action figures.

It also makes those MASK rumors make a whole lot more sense and seem a lot more plausible.

Just wanting to put a little speculation on this, what if there were copyright issues with producing small figures for elaborate vehicles and playsets. Perhaps Hasbro was trying to avoid potential lawsuits by acquiring the license that has already done this before.

There is no meat to my assumptions, I just feel like they were protecting themselves more-so then looking to re-introduce a classic line.
