I don't think any of the newly sculpted Superman figures have any texturing to their suits, the Trade-up does look like he has bicep swivels (though I can't zoom-in, so I can't tell for absolute certainty), and the only C&C figure that has an ab crunch is Batman, and I'll be surprised if that's left in for the production run.

Either the C&C figures are 3-3/4" figures and the Trade-Ups are 6" scaled, or the C&C figures are 6" figures, meaning that helmet is much larger than I expect it to be and the Trade-Ups are a new line of 12" collector oriented action figures.

I'm inclined to believe the former scenario atm.

Shadowknight1 07-08-2015 09:36 PM

I can zoom in and no, the "Trade-Up" Superman doesn't have bicep swivel. None of them do. And I totally didn't remember that Supes and Diana lack the ab crunch, oh well. But another point. The C&C Superman is a retooled 6" Movie Master MoS Superman. I'm almost 100% positive on that.

305Batman 07-08-2015 09:41 PM

The Multiverse brand includes six inch figures now,the TV series Flash and Reverse Flash both say six inch Multiverse on the cards. TNI has a group shot of the four six inch movie figures.

Dr Kain 07-08-2015 09:49 PM

How about showing us the damn villains?

snake5289 07-08-2015 09:54 PM

Spoilers I imagine

305Batman 07-08-2015 10:05 PM

The C&C won't be armored Batman since we see him in the regular wave,if the rumor of Doomsday is true and he's the C&C,we won't see him yet,I didnt get the MM Batsignl so I'd be okay with that too.

snake5289 07-08-2015 10:12 PM

Yeah I've been avoiding news and rumors for this movie like the plague so I'll pretend I didn't just read that.

Since when are Joker and Luthor spoilers? Plus, the toys are going to be out before the movie anyway, so it's not like it is going to matter.

snake5289 07-08-2015 10:38 PM

Wait Joker's in this movie and Suicide Squad now? Dammit I'm done here. See you fellas next year.

TheLongestDay 07-09-2015 06:49 AM

I have a horrible feeling NONE of these are 3.75" :( Unless I missed a listing somewhere that says they are?

I thought the Multiverse figures would be based on the name but they sure dont look it :?

matt3223 07-09-2015 07:08 AM

Got on YouTube watched a vid....the collect connect are the adult collector 6" figures...they have 12" figures next to them and that's why they look so small

Ravenxl7 07-09-2015 09:38 AM

... and I was so sure they were 3-3/4" figures last night... but I will admit, I was wrong. Really makes me wonder why they're doing what would appear to be collector oriented 12" figures.

That said, this means I won't have to worry about which scale I should go with. Even if he doesn't fit into it, I'll still get the Batmobile to put next to the Multiverse Batman. Though I might have to paint it up a bit.

GeekSummit 07-09-2015 09:39 AM

Be careful how we look at these figures in terms of scale.

I'm seeing the following:

6" basic Line (Total heroes style)

6" Movie Masters Line <--- referred to as Mulitverse C&C

I think they are dropping the Movie Masters name. I don't see it mentioned on the packaging for the SDCC set or anything. I think Multiverse is just the new brand that ALL lines fall under now regardless of scale.

4" Mulitverse line <--- we're looking at 2-up prototypes here...
What we get will be nowhere near the quality. We were shown the Reeve 4" figures last year and what we got was noticabley CRAP in a box. Still bought a few. These that they are showing look better than the 6" line sculpts... shame.

12" Titans style line

then of course your standard mix of lights n sounds n gadgets lines

Ravenxl7 07-09-2015 09:47 AM

I'm not sure if it was the same video, but I just watchd one of a guy talking to the Mattel rep, and the Multiverse figures are definitely 6" scaled... and after a second watch I'm not sure what the larger figures on-display are. The rep did actually say the phrase 2-up, but he didn't mention anything about them being upscaled prototypes for 3-3/4" figures... kinda confusing.

Oh, and I was right about one thing, the BvS Colect&Connect is the grapnel gun that's on-display with the figures.

Also, there are apparently going to be 6 figures in the BvS C&C line, so there are two more we haven't seen. Hopefully one of them is Lex.

Shadowknight1 07-09-2015 03:37 PM

Well, fantastic. I want the whole grapnel gun, so I have to buy all 6 even though I mainly just want the Trinity + Armored Bats. But maybe I'll like the other two as well.

Ravenxl7 07-09-2015 07:10 PM

Any word on a possible picture gallery of Mattel's non-BvS DC stuff they have on display? Most pics I'm finding on other sites aren't all that good...

As long as one of them isn't another version of Batman, I think both of the remaining figures will likely be worth getting. That said, four out of six isn't bad. I'm usually only interested in one or two figures in a C&C wave like this.

CMIII 07-11-2015 06:11 PM

what is with the hands on some of those figures did Queen Bee send a hive to sting them in the hands?? They look proportionally Huge

After the new trailer, my predictions for the other two figures are Lex Luthor and desert Batman.

Even if she's just in one or two scenes, I'm hoping one of the last two figures is Robin. She could easily be the obligatory smaller figure that comes with the largest C&C piece.

That said, if they have to have one of the last two figures be another version of one of the others, I would hope for either Diana in her dress or Clark in a suit.

Though who knows, maybe Mattel will surprise us with a figure of Alfred. Certainly wouldn't be a figure I would pass up.

Shadowknight1 07-12-2015 04:24 PM

Has Robin even been confirmed? And if so, are we sure it'd be Carrie Kelley? Don't get me wrong, I'd be all for it, especially if she gets an action figure, but I thought that was all just wishful thinking at this time.

I'll give you that, she hasn't been confirmed, but there's enough evidence that I'm convinced she'll be in the movie. With all the Dark Knight Returns elements, the Game of Thrones actress, and someone at WB apparently loosing their job for leaking that she'll be playing Robin... I'll be shocked if Carrie isn't in there for at least a scene or two.

I'm not sure it's meant to be her, as I'm not sure they'll have Dawn of Justice set long enough after Man of Steel for this to work, but there's a fan theory that the girl we see Bruce hugging in Metropolis could be her.

Phantomcrow 07-12-2015 06:45 PM

From what I have heard BvS is a year to 2 years after MoS.

Shadowknight1 07-22-2015 04:44 PM

All I know for sure is that when the Collect & Connect set goes up for preorder, I'm getting it.

I'll have a sweet MoS Superman that fits in with Origins Batman and an awesome Wonder Woman. DREAMS COME TRUE!!!!!!

I'm confused so there will be a 3.75 scale line?

snake5289 07-22-2015 07:09 PM

No idea. I posted that when I thought the Multiverse were going to be 3.75 instead of 6 inch.
