Wow. That face sculpt is really good! I didn't realize it was so nice! Now I want one...

Maybe this one will be more appropriate for some folks, who knows.
Point taken. The character designs are terrific overall. This entire series is my favorite ever. I just wish I began collecting before the prices started to rise.

...And thanks for more great shots. :D

Another great set of pics. Wampa looks on point, and nice to finally see Hoth Luke and Han together.

you guys are wicked awesome.

and that removable, bloody arm is such a rad surprise.

Donald 07-26-2015 03:57 PM

Leia must have had the hots for Han to put on so much make up before she got into disguise.

Thanks!

And yeah, I hadn't been keeping up with the in-hand pics, and I was surprised by that too, in a nice way. Reminds me of a cartoon steak or something. :)

Lol. He hadn't seen a woman in years, she wanted to be on the 10s. :)

all hasbro hate machines take notice. art.

snake5289 07-26-2015 07:55 PM

Oh how I miss Tex Avery and Chuck Jones cartoons. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

But first, MORE CLONES!

Excellent galleries, they're confirming that I'm glad I've worked on getting these figures. The only ones I haven't gotten were Jabba, Carbonite Han, and Yoda, purely because of cost or design look wasn't appealing to me. Yoda's derp face really makes me wish they would design an Episode I Yoda just to correct the eyes.

The good news is that 2016 looks to be rife with figures, and they're not letting Black Series die out. Granted, we'll see once Hasbro's Pulse program and their impending 'Collectors Grade' line comes along, but it at least looks like for the immediate, we'll have:

Ep 1 Farmboy Luke (aka Chesty McBitchalot)
Darth Revan (shrug)
Adult Ahsoka from Rebels
Kanan from Rebels
Sabine from Rebels
Jango Fett
Force Awakens Stormtrooper
C3P0....maybe.
probably another Clone.

So not all bad, but FA and Rebels really distracts from getting some of the OT figures like Ep IV Ben Kenobi, Ep IV Leia, EP V Lando, and getting real nitpicky, an Ep II Amidala. I do appreciate the Rebels line getting their own, it's deserved as a great prequel series to the OT. But man, poor Lando. It's not like I'm asking for an Ackbar or Dengar, or something really out there.

LOVE the group shot! And thanks for posting it in decent resolution!

Yes, 2016 is looking like a good year for collectors!

:D:cool::p:rolleyes::)

Yeah, that one needed to be big, can't appreciate it otherwise. It's not the cleanest, as far as set up, but that's not normally my thing. The fact I got them all in and standing and in focus was good enough for me to say "Im good, stop". :)

daveysockrocker 07-28-2015 02:48 AM

We need some 6 inch scale ewoks. I dont care if they come in a 150 dollar SDCC exclusive ewok village megapack, ill buy it.

Does the right steak shoulder have any wiggle room for sideways articulation or is it gimped completely just for the sake of the gimmick? If the latter, the force is not strong with that one.

Tony_Bacala 07-28-2015 10:23 AM

Pretty sure it's "gimped" as you said. No outward range, just north/south. You can see the general range of what it can do in the pics:

Those clone helmets have always seemed 'wrong' to me. I love the original Stormtrooper design. Looking at these, it's as if somebody took a regular trooper and force-fed him an entire bottle of lemon juice, causing his helmet mouthpiece to pucker up cartoon-style. It just has that silly quality for me, so consequently, I never felt any inclination to collect clones.

My preference would be more variants of the original design, like a 6" Snowtrooper, Spacetrooper, etc., with different colors and markings for the command structure. We've seen a bit of that already with the Sandtrooper. That said, there should be clear limits. This is Star Wars, not Iron Man. :D

Yeah, Stormtroopers look like helpless idiots who haven't a clue what's going on. Not to mention they have the personality of hardened cement. And Stormtroopers never had color outside of Shocktroopers, so I'm not sure what you mean by "different colors".

Why are you responding to a 4 year old post?

Lol. I'm sorry, but I always feel the need to respond to someone who insulted the clones. I know people are allowed to have their opinion and that's fine, I just wish the clones got some more respect.

Being upset about a random internet post that happened 3 full years before you even joined the site is a bit unsettling.
