Spiderman is a little hokey but size wise fits well and comes with Web Shooting and non-Web Shooting arms. Capt. America is pretty boss but is shorter and is more a representation of a back-fill version, a la someone taking over his role. He reminds me of the 70's Motorcycle helmet wearing Cap. Hulk is SHORT. Way to short for anything other then the Old Man Logan Hulk baby at 4 year old. I popped the head off the figure and used it with a MU hulk. My other option was to try to replace the legs but it didn't look right (but I really didn't do a ton of tests as to what would work or not). Thor is small too but the design is nice. I see this figure more akin to an updated Dargo Thor (if you remember him from the 80's, he is future Thor, smaller dude then Thor too). The 2 Iron Man figures I love for their simplicity. They are a little shorter then expected, but only by a little. I am hoping for more in the future but not holding my breathe. Apparently the Wasp and Loki are the remaining show characters that could fit. |
I'm not sure if the show is still up and running, but if it gets really popular, then there is a slim chance we could get the Guardians. The Guardians of the Galaxy have been in the show in their MCU attire so if the show gets popular, hopefully we can get them. That would be so epic. I highly doubt that Hasbro will make the Guardians in this scale. Even if they do, it'll probably 5 POA.

As mentioned, the Takara Microman line works well with MU scale figures, particularly the MA36 comic book Superman figure (best 3.75 scale Supes figure in existence by far =). I also just stumbled across these killer 3.75 Dragonball figures tonight at a Hot Topic... Company is apparently called Shodo? Very nice figures, especially for BOGO 50% off.

Is there a 4 inch scale modern M Bison?

Also, in my experience most anime PVCs will be roughly in scale with 4" figures. I found it hard to find Sailor Moon PVCs that were(HGIFs tend to be 4.5") though. In terms of Kamen Rider, there was also another line the name of which I forget, but I got a load of them. They were actual 4" scale like Marvel Universe, but much plainer than SiC KT. |

Any updates on the Revolmini Ultron? Can we pre-order him yet or something? I wanna put him in my MU collection. Even though those figures are a little bit taller it will still scale well because Ultron was really tall in the movie.

So now that Domo and Snowfalkian have turn me on to the Kamen Rider pre-S.I.C. toys I may have gone a little overboard...

Wow, you caught up fast!
(There are also Monster Hunter and Xenosaga MRS figures out there. All good figures.) |

I never got the SP wave of MRS. So the Momotaros I have is the one with the coffee cup instead of the sword and I don't have the painted sword Sword Form Den-O. Also don't have the tiger striped grey hibiki repaint. You're missing a Kuuga though and the first/next riders. You can also get a few more Kuuga's from kit bashing the shoulder parts. Like if you buy two extra green ones, and switch the shoulder armors so they're the same shoulder armors on both figures(green has a different shoulder armor on each figure and the arm peg is right below it, so easy switch to make it symmetrical), you can get two more of his forms if you don't mind painting them. This isn't from Japan, but back in the 90s during the first MMPR movie, mcdonalds did a line of figures for happy meals that scale well next to MRS figures and the Dragon Knight figures. (They also did one like that for the 2k2 He-Man series. And they scale perfectly to MU/I and DCI/DCM too! I have Orko and He-Man from that sitting on my shelf too, though the He-man needs a more accurate sword. The one he comes with does peg in his back for storage though!) No luck finding that Pre-MRS series with Faiz and Blade? If you do manage to find a set of those, let me know, cause if you find two I'll happily buy the second set off you. And this bit of scaling is for the MiniPla fans out there, but the Candy Toy sentai mecha model kits scale perfectly to the 5-6'' monster figures in Dino Charge. Those model kits are more poseable than the DX ones and still combine/break down into their separate vehicles. |

Any idea what that set is called? Is that MRS 6? I have the first 5 sets now (the 5th arrived today...pics coming). I can't seem to find set 6 online to buy anywhere :( Here are the sets from what I understand: Toys Are Insane!: Kamen Rider Motion Revive Series |

1-6 and the SP finale wave. I wish there was a series 8 and 9 though. Chalice and Leangle would be epic to have. No clue now on where to find them. I was buying them as they were released but skipped the SP wave because it was mostly repaints of ones I already had. Though that Momotaros sword was extremely tempting. I also skipped a secret figure in an early wave too. I think they may have done the baseline Hibiki Kurenai too in the SP wave, not sure. If they did, it's the secret figure of that wave. When I was searching ebay for them back then, I'd search Kamen Rider MRS series (whatever number of the series I was on at that point). Or I'd search Motion Revive Series (whatever number it was I was looking for). I still have one box from each wave if you need pics of the boxes themselves. I kept one box intact from each wave for display purposes. I was buying them by assortments. I have a series 6 case box too though because that seller was awesome and sent them in it. When you get the Ixa figures though, be careful with their belts. The knuckle part on the belt can pop off, and I made the mistake of losing one of them. So one of my Ixa's permanently has his Ixa knuckle on or his hand over his belt to hide the fact one is missing. It had a really quirky line name. Kamen Rider Full Action Figure. Kamen Rider Full Action Figure (1 Box 10pcs) This was the only store I had found still listing, but they discontinued selling it and returned my payment for the order. That's partially why it's so impossible to find them. |

So MRS set 5 showed up in the mail yesterday. With this and the SP set I only have MRS set 6 left (which one day I might get lucky enough to find out there).

What to do when you have an extra SIC MomoTaros...
Make Lemona...um...a Daredevil. |
Another thing you can do with the MRS scale, if you have an extra MU/MI spidey, you can have it be the Toei Spider-man.

Review of the new Bandai Shodo Kamen Rider figures:
nekonekopa.exblog.jp http://pds.exblog.jp/pds/1/201509/30...9_19522861.jpg Sculpts and articulation look good. Paint looks a bit sloppy. Extra hands are nice. I wish we had figures this nice here for the equivalent of only 500 yen ($4.16). |
I always notice this on the Marvel side and I thought Marvel was only a small part of it. Maybe if you asked a moderator to rename and move it you would get some more visitors.
