Two of them will likely be the Kenner tributes to Stalker Predator and the Clan Leader Predator, with Spiked Tail being a possibility since NECA has already teased it with concept drawings. Laser Shot Predator could also be a possibility, as there are exactly four Kenner Predators left outside of repaints that NECA hasn't touched yet. I'm pretty sure though, that the other one will be one of the newer temple guardian predators, or possibly the rumored re-do of Wolf from AVP:R.

Outside of new packaging, there really wouldn't be a point to doing an ultimate series of predators, as unlike many of the other "ultimate" figures, it would pretty much be just re-releases. While it wouldn't hurt to re-issue some predators that have blown up price wise on the secondary market, the City and Jungle Hunter already have figures released on the newer (non-AVP) bodies with all of their accessories. I'm really not sure what else you could do with those two. Wolf on the other hand...seems like an "ultimate" figure waiting to happen, considering the amount of toys he had to play with in the movie. So many actually, that we had to buy several versions of him from various lines just to get them all.

According to Randy we won't see the new Wolf until 2017. I'd totally buy an ultimate of either of the first movie hunters, granted they'd be re-releases with swap-off heads and more accessories than usual.

I'm actually glad to hear you say that, as I have both the Jungle and City Hunters already and can't really think of any way of improving them other than maybe shoehorning in an ab joint. But since neither of them has chest armor to obscure the joint it would end up making them look worse. Those figures are great as-is, but a re-release for people not wanting to splash out current Ebay dollars (I recall paying something like $70 for the TRU 2-pack City Hunter came in a year or so ago) would be great.

it's a real bummer that the forearm blades aren't capable of sitting parallel to one another. i don't know why but it really bothers me.

I don't know why but that's kind of how they were in AVP and since this figure is based on the AVP body it also has that effect. Disregarding source material it would be difficult to securely make every figure with perfect parallel blades using just plastic. I've noted that all of my predators with the city hunter style of the gauntlet have almost perfect good solidly done blades but then any using the jungle hunter style come with a gamble that they'll diverge paths.

Am I the only one that would buy these unpainted versions? I dig 'em.

It does look kind of cool and unique like that.

This figure looks way better than the game deserves. Scarface's design was/is awesome, and the storyline was great, but it played like total ass.

Anyway, totally buying this. The figure is sick. Right on, NECA.

It was clunky but I liked it. I'd bet that if it got remade today and had a little more time and care put into it it'd be an amazing game.

I've wanted them to make a new just Predator game for a while. Either they should do it like the Batman Arkham games or like Dishonored (maybe somehow take elements from both) to give us a cool new game. It could be a straight-forward easy to play game with little challenge but I'd get it for the experience. The Predator levels in the AvP games have been fairly fun and true to the source but some of the ways they had to balance the predator like the energy recharge system which runs out after like eight plasma shots took away from feeling like the ultimate hunter.

That would be awesome. As long as it's not first person though (except for aiming like in Concrete Jungle).

So when do these go out?

BBTS is probably just using the last information they were given. It's not up on NECA's shipping calendar yet so they don't have an estimate for us. It could ship at the very end of the month since we are seeing packaging samples now but I'd say November is more likely.

i would love one, but i couldnt justify buying it considering it's just really a celtic predator. im still wondering when the spiked tail, ghost and stalker will be released. seemed like they pushed them back or something.

BBTS says October on their website for the trio pack. Amazon has the spiked tail as being in stock on November 30th and ghost as being in stock on October 31st. Stalker is shown as in stock on December 30th. All for the single packs. I am guessing that the combo pack will not be in until at least January as Stalker will not be available until then.
I find it strange that There were no pictures or mention of these guys though from Mr. Moore on his visit to the NECA. You would think that they would be there too especially since Scarface supposedly ships in November. He may be holding out...lol
I would be all over an unpainted version though!

I have been kicking around the idea of just ordering ghost and Spiked tail however it makes no sense for me to pick up two for $100 when I can utilize a little patience and get all three in the combo pack. Even if I have to wait a little longer.

They're on the NECA shipping calendar for early November. I think they've been delayed in order to update the articulation on all 3. When they were first shown at Toy Fair they all had the typical bodies but by now all three have been upgraded with the new joints.

They're part of a set, they'll all be out at once.

So I guess it is hard to pinpoint their release time. Hopefully sooner than later.

I am in the same boat as some of the others here in the thought that Scarface is very similar to Celtic. I skipped Celtic and decided to go with Scarface since they are very similar.

Shit, I didn't know they were upgrading their articulation. But once I read your post, I went and looked at the pic of the Predator display I took at NECA's NYCC booth last weekend and if you look close...yup, I'm seeing double elbows and ab joints now! Cool.

I was already intent on getting Spiked Tail because I like his over the top vibe but it's getting harder to pass on Ghost. He looks cool and the new articulation is a big plus but space concerns are telling me no :(

Spiked tail really reminds me of Mad Max' Immortan Joe. That is why I am sold on him
