And did Leia really need to even be in this movie?

i liked that she was in it..but she seemed a little ..."stiff" to me..

Probably cause she hasn't done anything for a while :p

Yeah it was cool to see the old crew again but couldn't they have saved Leia for when she actually has something to do. It's like they put here in for the hell of it. It felt like that scene from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back when Mark Hamill appeared.

"Hey kids it's Princess Leia" *applaud*

I think I prefer her being in it than not being in it. But I didn't like how Han and her interacted. It was weird how they were seperated.....and had a kid who was an emo, Vader worshipping sith lord.....

The whole thing felt like bad fan fiction.

I loved it and have seen it three times. Noticed a couple of thins I havent seen addressed and wanted to see if anyone else had thoughts.

First, has anyone heard or seen anything about the same sex couple. The two masculine voiced aliens Finn goes to leave the bar with walk out holding hands. Given the emphasis placed on the the hand holding when Rey and Finn meet this cant be coincidence.

Second, when we see Luke he is standing next to a grave stone. I caught it the second time but it's much more pronounced in 3d. The obvious choice is Rey's mother, hence the reason no one ever came back for her.

Any thoughts?

So did Kylo intend to do what he did with regard to Han - or did he plan to do the opposite and just reacted badly when he got the idea of Han's presence being an indication of an attack on the base ?

Some people say he reacted poorly and didn't really mean to do it until he did it.

And other people say he did it on purpose and asked Han's permission to do what he did on the bridge as a favour to him - to rid him of his perception that it was the lightside pull causing him suffering.

snake5289 12-30-2015 03:55 PM

I think he had every intention of killing Han so he could further pull away from the light side. When he asked Han to help him do what he needed or however he phrased it he was just baiting him.

At least that's how I saw it anyway.
