I hate this movie so much. And it's not cause of the cast. I detest remakes, and Sony is a company that suuuuucks at them. There's no reason for this not to be a sequel. In a world of jurrasic world, mad max fury road, star wars force awakens, creed, and the ash vs evil dead TV series, this ghostbusters remake is a crime against good cinema. And THANKFULLY It Feels Like the majority Agrees With me. The only way we are going to make Hollywood stop with this lazy remake nonsense is for these films to fail

Actually, we have many people on here who are under 18. So no, not all adults.

Making jokes is fine. Making jokes at the expense of members, not so much.

And people who bandy about the term "true fan" are only looking to validate insecurities as they see opposing tastes as an assault on the status quo. So they choose to denigrate in an an attempt to position their viewpoint as the superior one.

Garbage, yes, but hot no. None of these women are even remotely hot. However, it would have been nice if they had picked not hot women that could actually act.

Figs - I think they look good for what they are.

Movie - don't care about all female cast so long as the movie is good and they perform. I watch/(ed) them every week on SNL and dig em. What I don't like is that they rebooted it. Should have required it be a soft reboot. 30 years later, Ghostbusters retired/missing/in-hiding/angry and said fuck off/ - new team on the scene. Maybe one is a daughter. Whatever. Then do this movie. Cameos or not. Slimer throwback to connect. Done. Expand on from there. Bring in dudes. Do the dude team in LA. Cinematic universe. Ghost Bill Murray.

I was bummed a bit that it was a hard reboot. Was easy enough to have some connective tissue to the original. But now there's a clean break there for those that want it.

Those films were made in an era where Remakes were rare. We live in a world where Remakes are shilled out constantly in an attempt to make money off of an older franchise, and being lazy about it by just remaking it as opposed to continuing and creating something fresh.

Don't care about them makimg these figures since my preferred GB's have already been made in TWO different scales, but I'm just surprised Mattel made unique body sculpts for these characters XD

Edit: I'm seeing a lot of sides of the toy community that I knew existed but (thankfully) hadn't had to deal with yet. I'm pretty disgusted. C'mon guys, let's be adults. I don't like them remaking Ghostbusters either but don't attack the cast just for being women and having different body types. Dan Ackroyd was a bit of a chubber back in'84 too, you know...

TBH, the only good thing these figures present are good custom fodder for a Janine or Kylie or Melanie from the comics.
