I'm pretty sure I remember fans talking about whether if he will or if he won't come with his purple hair the first pics. I definitely wouldn't count accessories out yet sometimes they hold thay info for one reason or another.

Yes to his ab articulation being more but definitely not more articulation in the hips. Just different. Still has as many points with even less range in certain poses. It's basically like the awakening goku ' hips.

Granted I really like the hips more and be glad to trade in this body style for my super sayian Vegeta once they give him black hair. IF this comes with his powered down hair I'll buy it then. It probably won't though but I really don't see how we can know that yet.

Don't know why people keep saying this is Super Vegeta. This is NOT Super Vegeta. I'ts just a updated better version of his SS1 form. Super Vegeta is way bulkier just like how Goku and Trunks get in their "super" form. Google "Super Vegeta" or youtube "Super Vegeta" and you'll see it's not even close to being the same

I'm a bit pissed that they would release this better updated version not even a year apart from the premium color version. I would have just waited to buy this instead if I would have known. But I'm pretty sure know one would have thought they'd pull off a douche move like this. I'll most likely try and sell my premium color version and use that money to get this one.

I also wish they would have just skipped this and released a Buu saga Vegeta instead. It's something a lot of people wanted and they easily could have thrown in a Majin Vegeta head in their as well.

But on a positive note, the figure looks amazing with the updated more accurate body mold. I also love the hair color and faces on this one way more than the premium Vegeta. Hopefully we get normal black hair. Probably not, but I can wish. Definitely looking forward to picking this one up though.

Yeah but the first time we saw Trunks was on display at some toy show, wasn't it? They only had one figure so the only way to show of the alternate head would’ve been to just put a disembodied head in the cabinet. Or have a second Trunks with the other head but that takes too much space.

On the official pictures the head was displayed, with Vegeta that's not the case.

But you're right; you should never rule something out entirely until you know all the details. I'm just saying the odds are not in our favor here :(

Correct, I just counted it as better articulation because the hips themselves are better made; it does not have extra joints. Thanks for correcting me on that one.

Technically you're right, but the Tamashii Website calls this figure "Super Vegeta", that's why I referred to it as such. That, and I was too lazy to write out "Super Saiyan" :p

Got it..and i understand...and i normally purchase every fig that comes out but....eh....Im not sold and def not excited about this one...a new Cell or a reissue Cell or a Buu PLEASSSSSSSE...

I hear you; something new would've been way cooler than another Vegeta. Would love to get Buu, no matter which one. And Yajirobi... why not, he's a funny character and it would be something different body-wise instead of another muscle dude.

Also, while we’re talking about something "cooler" than Vegeta, that’s exactly the figure I’ve been dreaming of: Cooler! :D I would love to see a Final Form Cooler SHF someday.

And don't worry, if you already have a Super Saiyan Vegeta SHF and/or you don’t feel like buying this one then don't. That's your decision and a perfectly rational one too IMO. Save your money for something else.

I'm waiting on that Buu they showed off awhile back personally. Or the SSJ4 Goku. Either of them would have been preferable to another Vegeta release.

Item page confirms it, no regular, non Super Saiyan head included. Which means no purchase from me.

Figure looks awesome, but I want the option to display a basic Vegeta, not just the Super Saiyan one.

And Trunks comes with a regular head option but not Vegeta? That’s bad comedy.

Maybe that one'll (with the regular head) go up for pre-order next month...right??

I want to see the this Vegeta and the one that just came out a couple months ago side by side.
AND...is that side by side with Trunks some photo trickery (if they have the same body) or is he actually shorter than trunks??

Actually shorter, as he should be. Trunks is 140mm (normal SHF size), Vegeta is 135mm.

As I said last time we were talking about this, it's not a reused body with a new head, they retooled the body.

Hmmmmm....while yeah...it's a definite improvement... I (right now, because i may be struck with stupidity later) can't justify spending that much on a figure that is THAT close to my original.

I still wouldnt be too sure about this. Premium color Trunks was stated in the product page as NOT having a powered-down "stern-looking" face (this was a major issue with the purchase cause I loved that expression). I still pre-ordered it cause I love the character though.
However, I was pleasantly surprised when the figure actually got released as the extra head was there ! I kid you not, the info in the pre-order page were wrong.
So I am still not 100% sure it will include only the heads/accessories they state at this point.

But the product page for that Trunks figure does mention that 4 faces are included. Vegeta's page says nothing about alternate faces or an alternate head.

It has happened to me (once) that a Figuart came with an accessory not pictured on the website, but after looking it up it was listed on the product page. And that was only one weapon they had already sculpted for a different figure but said weapon was also used by this particular character so they threw it in because they could.

I find it hard to believe that something important as an alternate is not shown or listed but ends up in the box anyways.

If they plan to include that feature but are not ready to show it yet they would drop a teaser and list it on the product page.
