I don't know what you're so upset about though. We get shafted hard in almost every way possible, all the time. Let us have something good from time to time. Six inch has the best selection and the best bang for your buck and they eventually get better versions of every figure we get. I mean when I do see 4" they're $12-15 and 6" is $16.

I don't understand why this needs to be said in pretty much every news topic on 4 inch figures. I don't want 6 inch to stop existing or stop having cool stuff, I only want us to have the cool stuff as well. It seems 6 inch only fans could tell us to lie in the sand for all they care though. Makes me sad. We're all here because we love toys and we shouldn't crap on things others like.

I couldn't agree more Ninjinister. It gets old hearing all the 6" doll collectors whine and complain lol

snake5289 05-29-2016 06:00 PM

Very true.

DESTRO 05-30-2016 06:48 PM

Gamora is up next. Solid design with wait for it.... not one, but two weapons.

Yeah that was a giant surprise, seeing as how little the come with ANY these days.

Dolemite 05-31-2016 05:23 AM

Neat figure, I like this design for Gamora. However, the backstory posted for her makes no sense:

"Thanos discovered the infant Gamora after the Zen-Whoberi race had been demolished by the Universal Church of Truth. Thanos used the machines aboard his ship, Sanctuary II, to bring Gamora back in time by two decades and bring her body to peak perfection."

So he found her as an infant and de-aged her another 20 years? What?

kylactus 05-31-2016 07:23 AM

I think he sent her back 20 years to be trained, then he got a 20 year old her in present time. Kind of what happened with hope summers.

Indeed, however it's really sucks she doesn't have wrist swivel. I wish they will make a 6 inch version of her.

Dolemite 05-31-2016 11:27 AM

They did, but it was the movie version.

Cyclopswc 05-31-2016 12:08 PM

they also made a 6" comic version, but she comes in the exclusive boxed set and in her old comic costume.

I know, I meant this specific version which she wears a modest futuristic cool space suit and come with neat weapons^^.

Yup! I don't remember being $200 though but for $20 something back was tempted to grab them all but eh. They did the foil covers on every issue felt like when it was a milestone issue or something.

So dying that I'm grabbing majority of them and realized I grabbed Ulik and read the back story on him didn't realize he's just an Asgardian troll for some reason I thought he was an inhuman. Think I'll return him....

I think we should all agree to call these "Marvel Universe" figures regardless of what Hasbro stamps on the package.

Marvel Universe figures are 3 3/4 inches. Marvel Legends are 6 inches. This should be the immutable law of Marvel action figures.

Haha agree.

Haha yeah, that was during the 90's era or was it early 2000...when the popping out new characters left and right.

I kind of wish I got her DST statue of her, looks great. Hopefully the Koto Bish line does her :P

En Sabah Nerd 05-31-2016 12:48 PM

So while I'm still not a big lover of this Gamora design I definitely still want one and I'm so glad they did the hair the way they did. When we first saw images of this toy I was scared we would get something like Shanna where the hair is sculpted down onto the face but they actually gave Gamora both halves of her face under the hair.

redfox 05-31-2016 04:31 PM

Hmmmmm. I really like the figure, but I kinda wonder how she'd look with She-Hulk's hair...

Some torso articulation would go a LONG way on these guys. The reduction in articulation coupled with the rise in price is a big time letdown.

jestermon 05-31-2016 07:08 PM

Wish they would do more waves reusing those old molds.

DESTRO 05-31-2016 07:39 PM

Ant-Man was just posted up. Poorly executed.

yeah, those paint apps are crap-tastic. yuck.

UpDog 05-31-2016 11:46 PM

Is this Antman any different than the MU one that was released a year or so ago?

Dolemite 06-01-2016 05:20 AM

He looks like some Kindergarten kid fingerpainted him.

Enigma2K2 06-01-2016 03:49 PM

This... THING gives me hope that one day Hasbro may give me a new 6 inch version of this guy.

The non-uniform hands always bugged me.

DESTRO 06-02-2016 07:08 PM

Next up is Vision one of the highlights of the wave.

I'm not bashing 4 inch figures, you like em so be it. however it kinda pisses me off SOME characters made in the 4 inch line have never been made into the current 6 inch line yet. or at least since i've gotten into legends.

that works both ways.

Kamatayan 06-03-2016 04:40 AM

Don't know why there is always a 6" v 3.75" debate every time there's a new MU photoshoot. Like others have mentioned, Hasbro has been treating the MU collectors like crap for a while but they're finally pumping out some decent stuff. Just let us have something good from this line without this nonsense.
