Awesome photo shoot. Putting the Aliens in there was an amazing idea.

Your photos are pretty awesome, but I feel like supporting these guys is supporting Konami and FuckKonami!!! Nevertheless, amazing pictures, especially the one with the red alien.

Trivial Psychic 08-27-2016 01:04 PM

I always knew about the "Aliens" look of the creatures, but I never realized just how much the Genocide Alien Queen looked like the Red Falcon miniboss from the first game until these shots...

Thanks, now I want a Red Queen LOL

The swapped heads from their defaults looks so much better! I'm just not sure which look is technically more accurate.

Most seem to agree the blonde hair sculpt on the blue pants to make Bill and the black hair sculpt on the red pants to make Lance. I agree, seems like a more natural fit.

I was thinking about buying the Contra figures, but I'm a perfectionist. Is it very easy to exchange the heads without risk of breaking either of them?

Use some boiling water and its easy peasy lemon squeazy.

So how long do I need to bob the heads into the water? I don't want to risk doing anything to the paint. Lol.

I personally used a hair dryer to loosen joints. I never use water.

Thank you so much! How long does it usually take with the hair dryer to loosen the joints?

Usually just a few seconds. You'll feel the plastic start to soften ever so slightly and then it should pop off pretty easily after that.
