The head without the shower cap looks pretty good. Maybe it's the filter, but the one with the shower cap...ummm...not so much.

Really wish it were just her "street" clothes rather than the Space Suit...

I wondered about that too. She's known better for her scenes in the movie where she's dressed in coveralls. Maybe that's for a future wave.

I don't remember Lambert in coveralls. I do remember (and have found plenty of pictures of) her wearing a t-shirt, vest, cargo pants, and cowboy boots. NECA would have to tool up a new body for Lambert in her duty uniform. Seems unlikely.

Anyway, they must have done their market research and decided this is the way to go.

I'm sure this was the cheapest way to go. She'll be the wrong height, too. Guarantee it's the exact same EVA suit body they used for the others, despite Cartrwright being significantly shorter than Skerrit, Weaver, and Hurt.

I think only the first few Aliens actually had bios, this guy is probably just blue because Kenner wanted him blue.

Think I'm putting the VGA pink dude on a shelf since he comes with an egg, currently at least. Might have him crouched beside it. I think there was a suggestion from Randy about changing that set up though...

Unholy s##t that thing is scary. It looks like the isolation legs with the back bent legs. and are those new feet and tail?

I think the entire thing except for the head is just taken from the Isolation alien, which was largely just Big Chap. It could be repainted into a more different color but with the red lighting in this picture it's hard to tell.

So just a new head?

I like the head sculpt, especially the toothy sinister grin. If I bought non-movie stuff I would consider buying that one.

Regarding the blue alien...the original Kenner one must have been from one of the later waves. No comic, not even a egg-shaped blister. I don't remember seeing it ever, although I did have a black one that used the same mold as part of the Alien Versus Predator Two-Pack.

That is the big chap body, the original alien design.

What's the story behind the Defiance alien anyway? Is it special for some reason or is it simply drawn a little differently?

I don´t know, but it looks pretty damn cool.
