I cannot wait to get Sabine. Aside from Phasma (and maybe Revan - we were planning on getting him for a friend who loves KOTOR, but he looks so nice we might get him ourselves), the Rebels characters have been the only Black Series figures to get our money. With Hera on the way, that gives me hope that the whole crew of the Ghost will be released in this line.

Of course, if they start doing Clone Wars characters (or some select EU/Legends characters)...

Other than the difficulty of finding one of these without ultra-derpy eyes (I eventually did), Sabine is fantastic and easily one of the best SW Black figures ever.

The issues with her eyes were annoying, however. It's like they put so much effort into the super-complex paintjob on her armor that they had nothing left over for her eyes. But with a little patience I finally found one that didn't have Toxic Avenger eyes.

Hasbro...you can't leave us hanging. You KNOW we need a Darth Malak to go with Revan now, right? Or at least Darth Bane since he's actually confirmed canon.

Shiiit, in my book we need at least Malak, Bastila, and HK-47 to go with Revan.

On the subject of Rebels characters, do you think Space Aladdin will be next? IT seems kind of weird to have all of these characters except for the main one.

I'd like to think so. I'm guessing that, after Hera, we get Ezra, then Zeb, and finally Chopper.

I've seen speculation that they might pack Chopper in with Ezra as they did with BB-8 and Rey, but either way Ezra seems like the safest bet for the next figure.

Could've brought this up when I quoted you earlier but it just occurred to me. If Hasbro made a 6" Darth Bane would it be his canon appearance or his legends appearance? A lot more of the fans I'd assume would be familiar with his old legends look (like the figure we got of him in the Sith evolution 3 pack) but then his canon look is technically the way he really looks now that all old EU is just "legends." His canon appearance is a cool, very samurai looking getup. I actually think it looks a lot better than his legends parasite/bug armor with the ridiculously complex mask.

So far this wave has more variant/updates than I've seen before in a single wave of figures and they're all almost immediately released. Sabine has a second version where her hips have no pegholes and her holsters therefor have no pegs, the AT-AT pilot is re-labeled as the "AT-AT driver" and his armor is less glossy, and the snowtrooper has a revision where his armor is a little more glossy.

Regarding the Hoth troops, I've always liked these guys' looks. The battle of Hoth is one of the best moments in the series too so I'll take most any figure in this scale based on that battle. Hasbro should be really cool and give us a Hoth Leia since this wave's Leia is pretty lame.

And, Gods willing, somehow we get a snow speeder with exclusive wedge antilles and wes jansen!

I think more people would just want Wedge sold on his own. Clearly a snowspeeder should come with just Dak, he was feeling like he could take on the entire Empire on his own you know. If they made a snowspeeder with Dak it'd be a good excuse to also re-release the wave 1 pilot Luke since that thing is stupid expensive nowadays, in fact that should just re-release all of the first wave.

So glad they are making merch for ESB inlcuding the AT-AT Pilot and Snowtrooper. I really hope they make a Hoth Leia.

Hoth Leia has been on the top of my "Want List", too. Hopefully her inclusion in the Star Wars Survey will lead to her release. I also wouldn't say no to a release of Dr. Aphra, 0-0-0, and BT-1. Wonder if Hasbro would stretch the Black series into releasing figures from Marvel's ongoing comics.

Reminder that Revan was the winner of the 2015 Star Wars Fan Poll. The 2016 winner was Jaina Solo (mostly due to butthurt EU fans exploiting a glitch with the poll to ballet stuff in her favor - but that's a story for another time), so if we're ever gonna get a Mara Jade, she's gonna have to win the Fan Poll in 2017 or later.

We only got Revan via a fan poll so sadly he's not a definitive indication of any more like him. Mara Jade was actually just in the latest 6" fan poll though, but (surprisingly to me) she ended up polling close to last place so Hasbro probably took that as a sign that she wouldn't sell even if they did make her. Maybe her popularity has drastically fallen since Disney's acquisition of the Star Wars license because when that poll started I imagined Mara Jade would be the easy winner based on her popularity prior to the new movies. I was quite wrong. Revan actually does have the potential to become canon again very easily and no longer just part of the Legends section. Since he predates all movie activity by thousands of years he could be reinstated with no major alterations to his character in a similar fashion to Darth Bane's appearance on the Clone Wars cartoon. Other things from KotOR have been pulled into canon already too (like the old republic hammerhead starships) so Revan wouldn't be an unbelievable push.

That could be cool. Like Dr Aphra (as you mentioned), Agent Terex (with his custom armor from the latest issues), Shara Bey, L'ulo, or even characters from the movies as they appear in the new comics such as Luke's jacket look in the title series.

If we get comic characters, and I'm sure I watched an interview from SDCC where they implied they would get to them eventually, Aphra should be one of the first. She was popular enough to get her own comic, the first original character of the new Disney canon to do so.
