I think the obvious answer is that they can't afford to sell it for less for some reason. Maybe it just costs a lot more than we think it does to produce these pieces? I dunno, I just find it hard to believe they're charging these prices out of greed or just to be dicks.

In my opinion NECa normally has really good products for reasonable prices. It is hard for me to imagine them charging an outrageous price just for the sake of making money. Some have stated (rumor) that this throne will be made of resin. I would anticipate that they did what they did to improve the quality of the product and it will likely be costly.
$*&# though, this will look SPECTACULAR with the new Kratos sitting on it. I may have to splurge on this item. As much as I do not want to, I may have to get this. The ultimate Kratos, Shield, Axe, swords on a weapon wall behind him... yeah. Probably got to have this.
Maybe I just need to grab some foam and paint make a throne.

I don’t get the impression that NECA don’t care about their market. Quite the opposite. So yeah there’s probably a lot of truth in that.

It’s just my understanding of capitalism that short-term profit can equal long-term gain. Make it more appealing to many more people through a lower price and it will sell better. Then again I readily admit I have no idea what their overheads are.

Very cool piece though. Just a shame I’m not big on the Predator series. I did like the suggestions on Twitter about putting a xeno on it though. I guess a Dutch or Ripley figure would also look good too.

I can't wait to get this. It's been about 14 months since their last full wave of new Predator figures. I'm really chomping at the bit for anything Predator at this point.

Well, regardless of material, design and whatever other reasons, I am not going for a 95 bucks chair. I prefer more figures for that price or even an expensive figure.
