Ahhhh, good point !

Mastersteef 02-19-2017 03:37 PM

Fingers crossed that they've improved the plastic quality on the Halo figs, as I've run into loose joints on almost every single one I've bought.
If they've fixed that problem and I can get some cool ACBA out of them I'll buy every single one.

donmeca2020 02-19-2017 03:37 PM

Im actually impressed with Kate, king shark, and that All star batman appearance twoface.

Seeing as DC Collectibles hasn't yet announced an Icons Batwoman, I may have to jump on this. The unmasked alternate head looks nice, although I don't have high hopes for it actually making it into the production figure.

CMIII 02-19-2017 03:39 PM

well most of the DC Multiverse Stuff looks good. That King Shark Joker has got to be the Fugliest thing I have ever seen. I have to say the Four Horsemen still have it..

OriginalFire 02-19-2017 05:15 PM

These look pretty cool for once. They are not the best figures but I might have to collect and connect some after all

Skoob 02-19-2017 05:18 PM

The Batwoman figure is a real standout, like it doesn't even belong. Very nice.

EZTOYDUDE 02-19-2017 05:27 PM

Wait so are we still getting Zoom or even the alternate CW king shark head ?

Snowflakian 02-19-2017 06:19 PM

Oh! And the biggest Mega Construx reveal this year is Pokemon sets.

So combine that to the megazord building system and you can make pokemon zords.

That's one mega charizard!

There are packaged pics of Zoom out there and the alternate hammerhead comes with the TRU exclusive Damian.

That's news to me. Are you sure you're not thinking of the DCC Zoom? I know we've seen that one in-pakage.

So that is a 4" figure and the extra head comes with? I may finally get to make my Rachel Summers custom.

CCC.

No. All of these DC Multiverse figures are 6" scaled. They haven't been doing thr 4" scaled figures for a good while now.

Pravus Prime 02-19-2017 06:50 PM

Anything about the Multiverse Superfriends that showed up a few weeks ago?

Brownfinger 02-19-2017 06:50 PM

Awesome! My favorite Destiny ship is a Mega Bloks/Construx set! Pretty much exactly the thing I'd hoped to see when this line began.
*is happy*

Shadowknight1 02-19-2017 08:09 PM

Batwoman and GL Jessica Cruz look great! Batgirl...not so much. What did they do to poor Barbara? And the Wonder Woman Multiverse figures look...okay. The Wonder Woman and Hippolyta look okay, though the likenesses are rather poor. Steve Trevor looks fantastic though, great Chris Pine likeness! And thanks for the spoiler Mattel. Not that anyone can really be surprised by Ares being in the movie, but still. Too bad the BAF is the only one in the line I'd be really interested in.

EDIT: So I think I might spring for Batwoman. Maybe the Justice League Action Wonder Woman since I really like that design.

Thinwheat 02-19-2017 09:26 PM

I'll be picking up the JLA Power Connects WW, the whole WW Multiverse wave (that Ares looks great!), Batwoman, DKR Joker, and maybe a few more. Sculpts are a lot better this year and articulation is getting better. Get rid of the square crotch, add ankle pivot, continue improving the articulation and sculpts, and Mattel might just have regained my respect and my dollar!

Kinda makes me sad how great she looks compared to the Batman she should be fitting in with, however at least he isn't too DCUC looking.

The is an amazing looking figure however and I have been begging for a Batwoman forever.
Is this seriously only the 2nd mass retail Batwoman figure after Infinite Heroes?

zonedweeby 02-19-2017 11:58 PM

That Earth 2 Flash is SO FRUSTRATING. Wrong Earth, Mattel! Watch the darn show!

Batwoman looks great, and I'm in love with that Two Face. I guess it's based on JR Jr's art, but the style has a vintage anime feel to me.

Still going strong. Blind bags series 4 and 5 are coming. 4 finally has Karai, 5 has Kunoichi April. Series 3 has regular April. Super Shredder and the Super Ninja Turtles are in the works too for later.

They're doing more scene sets. Mikey in chinatown, Donny in his lab, Mikey with pizza cat in the kitchen, Leo vs Shredder, Raph vs Bebop on bike, mikey vs rocksteady at an amusement park, and a 150 ct freebuild sewer set that comes with 4 masks and a black shelled turtle so it can be any of them.

The new Power Rangers Mega Construx are pretty awesome too. They've combined duplo and lego brick standards to make some really massive and universally compatible zords to make megazaords bigger or to customize them. And they hold really firm and sturdy so easy for kids to play with or for collectors to make some really big creations that can hold poses. The new minifigures are now closer to TMNT too, so it'll be easy for them to update later to the COD/Halo standard if they want to later. Right now it's an inbetween blend of the PR standard and TMNT styled no elbow arms. They changed the head style though so kids won't lose the helmets anymore. Oh and they took the ID codes off the blind bags.

And Halo is definitely still going strong as is COD. The new figure standard has led to more single carded figures and they've started doing diecast collector series one of the lead characters in the game like fire team osiris. Destiny seems to be doing decently too still. The new COD cargo containers are ingenious too. If you want to make a shipyard or anything, those are amazing scene building sets.

The new Beyond series is freaking gorgeous too. It's like Lego City but a futuristic city, and the robot mini-figures are amazing. Those come with mostly normal people, so if you needed a normal city set for a spartan siege with flood or covenant, that's perfect. In theory, you could even make a mass effect multiplayer level from those sets or one of the newer COD games that's futuristic.

Thanks for the info.

The new Power Rangers sets do still have the codes, they're printed in black just above the bar code!

Can't quite tell if they have double jointed knees or ankle pivots, but they certainly look possible. By the way, is there any news on the She-Ra action doll line?

I'm not a big stickler on articulation, but I can't complain that it looks like they might be adding some knew points for future figures. Would be nice to see this new body sculpt used for a Rebirth Wonder Woman figure.

I can assure you she have double jointed knees and ankle pivot. It's maybe hard to see but there's lining or gaps that spartes the knees and she have the same style of ankle pivot like ML. I dig that new body sculpt too, very feminine, curvy ( not in the new fat euphemism sense)strong but not over the top, very gentle/soft sculpt in the good way. She has some 50's ideal woman body aesthetics which is neat. By the way, is there any news on the She-Ra action doll line?

There's another figure(Jessica Cruz/Green Lantern) shown with the same body, so there's a good chance she would be actually released. I'm tempted to get her too (I can't believe I want DC Multiverse figure) and I will if Mattel end their connections with Lady Ga Ga political organization which most likely to happen (soon) since Monster High is about to die (good riddance, they suck now).

Indeed, I bet she was desgined by new worker or something. She just make the rest figures look even more lame and outdated then they already are.

CMIII 02-20-2017 06:05 AM

I actually would have predicted Batwoman as one of the Short List Club Infinite Earths Figures in 2015.

To chime in the Mattel Figures. Had many of the same lines I compared Ultraman, Superpowers Superman, and Earth 23 Superman and they are practically the same figure with a few different bells and Whistles (Capes and such). Now I compare Donna Troy, HUntress, and Kitana and Kitana has similar lines on the torso to Donna Troy but the Armas and legs Improved

Apologies in advance because I am an old fart who is not tech savvy so I don't even know how to post links but there is a website called TTPM.com that has a video that shows the entire Mattel King Shark wave in package including Zoom.
