hm, i can also see the Knee Articulation.

What i ask myself is, why is there Knee Articulation
when the Legs / Hips can not be moved at all?
That is so Pointless / Useless to give a Figure Knee Articulation
when the entire Legs can not be moved at all.

I hoped for a good Articulation like the Mass Effect Figures.

I really do not know what to think about it / what to do, since
i have already pre Ordered the Figures.

SpasticPlastic 07-03-2017 08:53 AM

I'm not an articulation fanatic, so for me it's absolutely not a deal breaker. I like the figure, even though I've never played the game, so I'll probably get it.

Unhinged1983 07-03-2017 09:26 AM

Articulation certainly hasn't been the strong point in this line, but they still look awesome on display. I've picked up all the gaming ones so far from the Color Tops series and I'm pretty happy with them. I'm not really into playing with or creatively posing figures, so the limits haven't been an issue. If they look good in my cabinet, I'm happy!

As I've said though, the latest figures have been a lot better than the earlier ones.

That is the riddle of McFarlane. When the company really embraced staction figures in the early 2000s many of them would have a hip or a knee joint without the other or the pre-sculpted pose really wouldn't allow for use of any articulation. If you're comfortable with the situation it's easy enough to get over, I have too many old McFarlane figures to really be surprised that they haven't changed much.

Ventus 07-03-2017 12:40 PM

Customer Service of MCFarlane is also VERY VERY BAD.

They do not even respond to any Questions asked to their Email Adress.

I know that they maybe, receive a lot of Questions.
But none of my asked Questions / 2 Send Emails was answered.
It is very rude in my Opinion.

Good that they're taking the opportunity to make (at least one) vault hunters. I know NECA was going to but, according to Randy, the retailers turned the idea down.

Tomax 09-13-2017 02:43 PM

i like zero but no articulation, no buy

Given the steps in the right direction that McFarlane has been taking it's safe to assume Zero will have arm articulation at least. His stickman design might conflict with things though.

Phantomcrow 09-13-2017 10:47 PM

I want MOXXIE!!, in both Purple and Burgundy colors, hell make the Burgundy one a TRU exclusive. One can come with her Good Touch weapon and the other can have the Bad Touch. I also want a box set of the Mechromancer Gaige and her robot. She could be a box set like Claptrap.

scarecrow 09-14-2017 06:14 PM

I simply can't express how joyful I am about that Zero figure. Preordered.

same for me. I do not know if i shall pre Order Zero.
I have to wait and see how well the Articulation is on Tina and Jack.

If they have no Leg Articulation, i might sell them again
and ignore the rest of MCFarlane Borderlands line.

A Figure without Leg Articulation is a "Statue" for me, and makes it
impossible to put into different Poses.

I told MCFarlance Toys on Facebook, if they have at least
the SAME Articulation like their Mass Effect and Destiny Figures
everything is fine and awesome.

Everything below / Statue Area is an Ignore for me, and i will
never buy the so called "ACTION Figures" from MC Farlane again.

Go ahead and tell them :D
You can do that with Facebook or send them an Email.

I have already Bombed Square Enix with Emails (And others also did)
that Fans want FF7 Zack, FF7 Cid, KH Aqua, an NOW tadaaa
Figures Zack and Cid will be produced.

__________________________________________________ _______________________

I did the same with MC Farlane, asked them about the Leg Articulation
and if they can produce Maya or Gaige with a Mechromencer Figure.
Would be really awesome.

But this is the same with Play Arts Kai from Square Enix;
the more Emails and enquiries they get, the higher the Chance
that certain Figures will be made.

Crisis Core PAK Zack is AGAIN the best example for this,
that they really listen to what Fans want.

For years, is has been silent concering the FF and KH PAK.
I bombed Square with Mails, asking for more, like Aqua, Zack, Sephiroth.
And they did these Figures now.

So just go guys contact MCFarlane for more Figures like Salvador or Gaige.
I already did. If you also want these Figures, do something for it!

Same goes to Square Enix PAK Figures and Bandais S.H. Figures
Bomb them with enquiries, and maybe the Figures will go into Production.

I have already asked Bandai about S.H. Figuarts Finn (Resistance Outfit)
so i hope he will also follow the next Months.

MCFarlane even responds to Facebook Comments, so give it a try if you need
an Information or Answer from them.

What retailers exactly? Because they seemed fine with a million and one Claptraps.

Toys R Us and specialty stores. Series 1 launched well before the vault hunters were solicited (series 1 being Claptrap and a Psycho Bandit) and in that series' performance Claptrap blew the everliving shit out of the Psycho's sales. Stores then, such as Toys R Us, interpreted this as meaning that human characters from the franchise wouldn't sell so they were the ones who turned down the Zer0 and Salvador shown at conventions. They weren't just fine with getting nothing but Claptrap variants, they outright asked for it. This was all relayed pretty transparently to the community through Randy back when it was happening because of how many people asked what was going on with the line.

Ventus 09-16-2017 12:16 PM

Yes iam also very sad that Neca Cancelled their Line.
I also wanted their Zero and Salvador.

Also Necas overall Articulation on Figures are pretty damn good
(Iam collecting Predator Figures so i know that)

In November i for myself will see if MCFarlane can push out awesome Figures
(Overall and Leg Arcticulation) otherwise, i will not touch any more
of the rest Characters from MCFarlane.

Mortal Kombat (Storm Collectibles) and Borderlands, are the only Video Game
Figures that i want in my Collection with as much Articulation as possible.

KH Play Arts Kai, Marvel or DC Figures (Mafex and Bandai)
are perfect as they are.

Only Mortal Kombat and Borderlands need good Figures.

McFarlane Borderlands Deluxe Claptrap Box Set New Photos - The Toyark - News

Harbinger 12-18-2017 05:54 AM

From front page; The figure is due out in February 2048 at a price of $34.99. You can see the new photos after the jump.

Good lord thats one helluva wait for this guy. ;)

En Sabah Nerd 12-18-2017 02:50 PM

How is this $35? Claptrap is a small character (here apparently measuring only 4.5") and all he comes with are small accessories and two hats. Does he also come with a special larger base we haven't seen?

Tomax 12-18-2017 05:33 PM

now this i want, finally got a release date i see. i wonder if that dumb badge on the western hat can be removed, if not, i probably due a MOD and remove it

Hey if you have not found Handsome Jack or Tiny Tina you may want to check your local mall for a Go! Calendars store. I found them at my store in Washington St. Also if your Go! Calendars store is a seasonal store, many of them will have stuff on clearance now. I got them for less than $12 each. Both figures are great, but they did pull the Maliwan rocket launcher from the Tiny Tina release. I wonder why. Could they really be afraid of backlash for putting a gun in with a figure of a teenage girl or is it just a cost thing?

Probably just a cost thing, they included guns with Carl figures for the Walking Dead lines. My guess would be cost and then maybe she couldn't even hold the thing without just falling over.
I ordered Handsome Jack through Amazon the day they came out and recently opened it, pretty solid figure that only really feels held back by the curious practices of McFarlane. I found another Jack at my local Target though and that one's paint was just abysmal, like crossed eyes and just sloppy all over. Paint QC just seems all over the place on Color Tops from figure to figure.
