Even if the figures are brittle (and I am not saying they are), it will be an excellent source of parts

snake5289 11-08-2017 04:57 PM

Got my Alien today and I'm so ready for Predator and Injustice figures now. Joints are a little gummy but they seem like they're pretty sturdy. And it came with four sets of hands, an open egg, a facehugger, and a stand. Can't wait to see what kind of stuff they'll give the Injustice figures.

Probably not. That's most likely a separate license, same with Hellboy.

Dormamu 11-13-2017 07:43 AM

I'm not sure what it is, but I liked the IJ2 designs. Even though they're a little more glitzy, I think it's just slightly different enough from New52 uniforms to feel like a different universe.

Dolemite 11-13-2017 07:52 AM

Hiya figures are A) super fragile, and B) literally take years to be released. These figures will probably be out in time for the Injustice 5 launch.

Prem1x 11-13-2017 08:34 AM

Some of the joints on my Hiya Aliens seem like you could twist them off if you aren't paying attention and bend it the wrong direction. But the human marines seem perfectly fine.

Looking forward to the Predators line and I expect these figures to be great.

CoolToysOnly 11-13-2017 09:36 AM

Four inch figures really don’t work for me, shame because it’s a cool license

snake5289 11-13-2017 10:28 AM

I like that they're doing this but you know it's just going to be f***ing Batman.

I was surprised when I voted for Red Hood that he was the top one voted so far. Very cool! Hope it stays that way.
Personally I have not been a fan of Hiya Toys, but I would buy a Red Hood Jason Todd as soon as I could. His design in Injustice 2 is great! He's one of my favorite characters and IMO has never had an official figure that really looks like him. The closest was the NEW 52 design, but even that one really lacked. I own 2 different custom Red Hood figures currently.

Il Cattivo 11-13-2017 01:10 PM

I'd vote for brainiac if I could (don't have facebook). red hood's cool but I want something new.

sephiroth61787 11-13-2017 03:59 PM

Voted Poison Ivy because she always seems to be skipped in 3.75”. We have most of these characters in 3.75 thanks to DC Multiverse.

Neither do I but luckily my grandpa does though and that's who I voted for. After Lex he's my favorite Superman villain and one of the characters I play most.

Of course I'll take whatever figures I can get but if they do Brainiac, Supergirl, Poison Ivy, Starfire, and Swamp Thing I'll be happy.

redfox 11-13-2017 04:58 PM

Really hoping they can stretch the life of this line. I'd love to get all of the Gotham City Sirens/Birds of Prey, but I'll be really disappointed if they just release a handful of the top-tier and call it a day. A toy-line based off of a fighting game franchise really needs to dig deep, or there's really no point.

MUfan97 11-13-2017 05:00 PM

I think we all know who REALLY deserves the spotlight in this line.

Really? Red Hood? Really? For me, it was between Swamp Thing and Black Canary because neither of them have an abundance of action figures.

Are you serious? Do you really think there has been more Red Hood figures than Swamp Thing and Black Canary? No way! Swamp Thing figures go back a long way. Not only are there recent quality versions made by DC Collectibles (including a deluxe version) but even in the 90s there were tons of Swamp Thing figures based on the TV show.
Black Canary also has a good anount of figures. Again DC Collecribles made some including “Arrow” TV versions recently. There’s even a DC Bombshells version due out soon.

That aside, I have a feeling that Hiya will make a good amount of these characters. Black Canary has a great look in this game, she would be a cool figure.

Super Joe 11-14-2017 10:38 AM

I'm gonna echo what's been said. I too like to see figs of those less made. Each wave can have one of the Trinity (Supes, Bat, Wonderwoman). Yet make much of each wave consist of those characters less offered in the past.

The don't have much in this scale, though. I believe there's more Hoods than Canaries and unless you want to count the cartoon figures as "in scale" there's zero Swamp Things.

Name a Black Canary COMIC figure. I do NOT like the look of Black Canary in Arrow(either version that I've seen) and I'm not a fan of the Bombshells line.

*Edit: Double post, sorry mods!

snake5289 11-14-2017 04:01 PM

After spending some time playing him I'm getting a little bummed they probably can't make a Hellboy figure. That'd be awesome.
