i dont like black bolt, he is one of those lame marvel characters **IMO**
|
So a guy who has the power of a nuclear blast in his vocal cords is "lame" to you? Yet you probably like Gwenpool right?

Black Bolt's hands?
I have yet to see a figure with "underarm wings" that worked. But I digress.
I didn't care for the fist hands on that Black Bolt figure, so I determined to transplant the flat hands from the Subby figure onto Black Bolt, and paint them black. Simple enough. However. I cannot seem to remove BB's hands. If I pull much harder I'm afraid they will simply snap off. Disappointing. While I'm at it, I really don't care for BB's large noggin anymore than I care for Subby's globby-looking legs. This line of figures is just as underwhelming as the "Vintage" figures I bought. Cap looks like a linebacker, and in what reality is that Iron Man a "vintage" character. It makes me laugh to imagine Cap trying to squeeze his enormous head into Iron Man's teeny helmet. Something has gone very wrong with Marvel Legends, IMO. |

Just an evil doppleganger of Black Panther. I seriously don't see all the fuss or why some people are going gaga over this figure. Just like the DP movie created an over saturation of excess DP figures in every color of the rainbow & more DPs with just slight differences in the costume, I have bought zero DPs including the Juggy BAF wave version. I'm just waiting for the original 90s version that's coming in the BAF Sasquatch wave & that will be my one & only DP fig. Same goes for the Walmart classic version BP, that is the only BP I will ever need. The only 3 characters that I would ever buy multiples of would be Ironman due to his different comic armors & classic Spidey & Black costume Spidey which I have yet to buy & classic Thor & Eric Masterson Thor. Only reason majority of you even know that BP had female body guards is due to the MCU, & even in the comics were they hardly ever even utilized as in reality, the Panther needs no personal protection.
The Panther has always been one of my favorite MU characters & I will always consider him an Avenger 1st & last, but his rogues gallery of good villians is wanting & I don't see why many of you seem to think he rates multiple waves. At most a 2 pack that includes the comic version of Manape & classic half masked, sleeveless costume BP. That all being said, can't wait to see the movie next month. Wonder if human Klaw ends up turning into his comic looking version at movies end. |
I dont like how bp and og ( overgold for those whove never seen im gonna get you sucka) knock off bp have no boot artic. Thats how it starts. :)

killmonger looks sweet

Lame villian. He’s wearing almost the same thing as Black Panther. This is just as bad as Jeff Bridges’ Iron Monger. Couldn’t Marvel Studios come up with a little more originality here?
What’s with the Diamond Toys “Tactical Killmonger” minimates toy? That looked like a much different design. Would have made a better Marvel Legends figure too. |

Killmonger could have used an unmasked head, but for an "evil Black Panther" figure he does work really well.

Another MCU origin/first solo film, another villain that is the evil clone of the hero.

The MCU version is a little different than the comic version but overall this is still an exiled former Wakandan coming back to try and usurp the throne. They've made some other minor changes to T'Challa as well by making Wakanda more isolationist than the comic version. The comic version accidentally diluted some of the premise by adding in how T'Challa went away for school and some other little things like that. This versions is a more isolationist nation that built itself up from no interference from the outside world, developing into far more advanced technology than even Tony Stark can dream of. It's being made more cohesive way to maintain the story integrity of what Wakanda represents. In Iron Monger's case, it was because the suit was directly reverse engineered from the Mark I and to show how unoriginal by comparison the villain(Stane) was. It represented idea theft and reverse engineering. Which is why in IM2, we see Whiplash mock corporate unoriginality. He was creative and came up with his own gear and ways to tweak the Hammer drone designs. Which was the whole reason he was hired, because of corporate unoriginality not being able to match Tony Stark's level. |

Stark looks like the professor from the powerpuff girls.
|
I can see that...if the Professor was going through a mid-life crisis and decided to grow a douchey goatee.
|
Did I miss another long-winded rant? How sad.
Anyway has anyone seen if the unmasked head for Stark fits on the earlier Bleeding Edge figure? |
He looks a bit fat around the tummy. Or maybe his shoulders need to be a bit more wider.....? Something feels a bit off to me. But I could be wrong...
|
tony stark was digitally painted? i think it looks good and the paint isn't smeared or bleeding and the eyes are normal, it just looks to shiny to me
