An no extended pinky finger on this version of DP, which I'm glad for.

Plus no taco nor burrito?...it’s a pass for me! Lol, NOT!

I’m goibg to move to the Philippines

Looking at that pic of boxed Cable, it’s pretty obvious he’s the Liefeld version because I can’t see the feet.

Guess majority of you don't realize that's a late 80s-early 90s 1st app version of DP & back then he was mostly a sword wielding merc who utilized handguns when needed.

It was 1991, and that first appearance Deadpool is even holding a gun on the cover of New Mutants #98.

The point is it's still a pretty empty Marvel Legends box for $20, Hasbro could have thrown it a gun or two or anything.

Parademon1 01-27-2018 06:40 PM

Thanks for the correction on when he came out. I coulda sworn he debuted in some new mutants issue in 89' but guess not. Yeah, he should have at least come with a rifle or handgun but let's face t, we all have a ton of other figures that came with weapons that you can give to DP. Between Punisher & Bullseye, there are plenty of ARs & Glocks to give to 90s DP.

Sure, I've got plenty of extra guns from other figures DP can borrow, but with no BAF piece even I still question Hasbro about why he costs the same as a second DP in the wave who has twice as many accessories and a BAF piece? Hasbro's "you're going to buy him, anyway, he doesn't need extras" attitude with some Legends is what I find annoying.

You can blame all the " I will buy any kind of DP figure Hasbro puts out" crowd for that. I never bought the over priced version that came out last yr & even though he has gone down in price, I still won't buy him, I much prefer the 1st app 90s version that's coming out in the BAF Sasquatch wave. Only figure that rates multiple buys of more than 2 versions is Ironman due to all his different armors. Other than him, I'll only buy 2 of a certain figure like classic Spidey & Black symbiote Spidey, classic Tiger strip Wolvy/Brown Wolvy, classic Thor, bearded Eric Masterson Thor, but to buy a rainbow brite version of a character or some 1 time gimmick costume, no way. Guess the saying is true, "A fool & his money are soon parted".

There is a lot of irony in this paragraph. Lol.

Ebonyleopard 01-28-2018 06:15 PM

I surprised no one is commenting on the fact that all the weapons have weird fruitloop like colors now instead of real gun colors. What's up with that?

That was some great soapboxing, wasn't it?

Becuase Hasbro has done that before when they gave someone pink guns.

I think it is freaking stupid.

Yeah, sure buddy. You DP buyers of "Everything DP" sure get your feelings easily hurt .

Demonic Poo 01-29-2018 12:09 AM

Really like Cable, besides the throwback feeling, i am really liking the HS with the ear accessory and the iconic eye effect. Plus it seems they retained the paint-wash on the pouches which is always good.

These aren't released yet in our country. This was released on some malls last week but they pulled it out immediately because it was intended for an April release. But some people already bought some figures.

Where can I pre-order? Can't find it on BBTS.

Parademon1 01-31-2018 11:31 PM

Any reviews on these figs yet?

HieroJux 02-01-2018 11:30 AM

Hey guys. I just swung by Toys “R” Us in Elk Grove just now and found they put these out early. Unfortunately someone called before I got there and had them hold the two Deadpools and Cable. They almost didn’t sell them to me. https://m.imgur.com/gallery/IJREj
