I always use HLJ, because they have "Private Warehouse" which is similar to BBTS's "pile of loot", you can save up on items before shipping together and save on shipping.

MAFEX John Wick - John Wick

Preordered 2 John Wicks from Nippon-Yasan with Eco SAL shipping. I usually order all of my Macross toys from Nippon-Yasan because they have the lowest price, you can order multiples, and with cheapest shipping their overall price comes out cheaper than other stores. They bubble wrap items very well and nothing has ever arrived damaged, even with registered ferry. Pay later option is available for most items. I make sure to pay in JPY there. You can combine preorders to combine shipping. My other option is Anime-Export as they also have a cheaper price, you can buy multiples, and they have a pile of loot or private warehouse system but without any time limit. There is no pay later option here. YMMV for both stores. I rarely buy from HLJ and hardly buy from Amiami.

i do hope that Mafex will improve their QC more and more greatly. The face looks great though, hope that it'll be the same on the final one and not too soft like a zombie with face powder lol

Mezco must just be sighing in defeat right now. They show off their John Wick; the first 6 inch figure of the character, everyone’s excited and then Bam, Mafex says ‘hold my beer bro’ and whips out their one to dangle in our faces and it’s almost instantly up for pre-order!
The fact I’ve already secured my Mafex order will now make me think twice about getting Mezco’s at the even higher, though arguably somewhat more justifiable price.

I may end up with both for JW 1 and JW 2.

Will wait and see size before pre-ordering either. 1:12 is pretty vague. I want to make sure whichever one I get scales with ML Punisher for some decent showdowns. If Mafex JW is as big as their SS Deadshot then he's too big for my tastes.

I was totally sold on the Mezco version, but I prefer not to have softgoods on my figures. For similar/possibly lower cost, I will go with Mafex. This figure looks awesome.
