This, something is off it makes him look like he is wearing a skirt. I know he is but it really LOOKS like a skirt with thigh high boots. I don't know something is just off and I think it is because of the proportions.

I just pre-ordered it. To be completely honest with myself i ordered it not because i am die hard Darkseid fan, but because imo i do not want to pay x2 or x3 the price if i ever want to own it. It's a joke but i am telling the truth. At least i hope ill be able to get my money back if i ever want to sell it.

If you don't like the price, the simple solution is to not buy it, not cry about it incessantly in every thread.

This sounds like it'll have problems down the line, even worse than the usual mixed media issues that come up with these sorts of figures. Looks nice though.

Darkseid is the pinnacle of DC. They did an amazing job bringing us this character. The price hopping is normal I think for this piece. Look at the Judge Dredd, the Lawmaker set was at the $250 mark if I remember correctly. I would like to see a throne piece for this Darkseid though.

It's a forum for discussion and price is an important part of that seeing as every line seems to be raising their prices. And this one is a particularly large leap in price because of the materials chosen.

That's the main reason I hate Mezco as well it's stupid even for the person who owns the company. Yet, they claim by branding on the new boxes even their promo photos saying "For collectors by Collectors" yet they refuse to make or do re-releases which is stupid since that honestly helps even expands their company even more doing that.

plus any previous issues on the older figures that were made they can easily go back fixing them like them giving actually ankle pivot to fix the issue.

It's just asinine even when they had their issues of bootleggers and knockoffs being leaked out yet they don't take that into consideration. The like the line since they makes cool and great figures but them being so blind by not seeing an issue with scalpers is pretty stupid.

If Neca, Mafex and S.H. figuarts can do re-releases on figures that were high selling figures then Mezco can do it too no excuses.

I agree, I asked if they will do re-runs in the future, specifically asking about the three punisher releases as I missed out on those and they said they will not be doing re-releases... Sad =(
