For the first SDCC in a long time, I'm more interested in Mattel's DC 6" offering than I am in the Marvel Legends set. This is... pretty inspired, tbh, given the past track record.

Don't know if I'll pick it up, but it's got my eye a hell of a lot more than "Street clothes + Daredevil"

CoolToysOnly 06-20-2018 03:45 PM

Ohhhh

decepticon_mark 06-20-2018 04:26 PM

The exclusives this year really make me happy I'm on a DC collecting binge this year 😁

I see zero evidence of that...there's are more Legends waves coming out lately than in ages, which wouldn't be happening if what you said was true.

Proof in the form of definitive sales figures or you're talking out your ass.

A He-Man fannie pack? Really? I'm not remotely interested in any of this stuff.

Bo Ttef 06-25-2018 10:30 AM

OK- the fanny pack is pretty funny- but other than that, the rest of these reveals were big passes. The masks/tiara should have been free with purchase of anything at the con. I'll be getting the Aquaman set and as many Thanos copters as possible but that's about it.

Sean C 06-25-2018 10:53 AM

Hulk Hogan absent because of post-WWE controversies, I guess.

Snowflakian 06-25-2018 10:54 AM

Kind of surprised Mattel isn't going a little She-Ra heavy this year, but I guess that'll be next year as the netflix toon gains traction.

Every Walmart I walk into I see a minimum half dozen full pegs of 6" figures, Mattel and Hasbro both. The stench of decay is underwhelming.

CCC.

Hot Wheels are 1/64 scale. The green sedan is 1/64. That superman is tiny. It is probably an inch tall.

Is there any word on any Halo exclusives from Mattel?
