So there is obviously a head in there because of the spin and dreds yet the light from the background is shinning through the eye holes?
We know the actual lights for the helmet are blue from the trailer...so what gives?

Personally i love the look of this guy as he is different from the other 100 NECA predators i own. Can't wait till they show off the bigger one. I imagine the tooling for both of these will be used extensively. The smaller one will likely be used for Ultimate Wolf and the bigger one will surely be used to pump out some EU/Kenner predators.

Must find this poster, I'm kinda digging the look of this predator honestly, but the movie looks like hot garbage, hopefully it surprises me, but no expectations.

I have no Problem with that as long as they keep working on the Wolf Predator.
Because Wolf is my Favorite from all Predator Characters.

Then i wanted to ask: does someone know, if Neca is also
planning to do an Ultimate Predalien Hybrid (AvP 2)
Because i remember, someone said that Neca wants to do
both Wolf and Predalien as Ultimate Versions.

So the Villain Predator from the new Movie will get a Figure also?

The only sad thing about the Predator Movies in my Opinion is,
that they ALWAYS Kill off ALL Predators, even the good ones.

I really hoped the Predator in "Predators"
(the one that was chained to the Wood)
would survive, but no...Head off Fatality from Berserker.

Maybe there will be a survivor this time, but i have my doubt.
I expect the same "All Predators are dead once the Movie ends"
again, as always, which is really sad. But Iam still excited for the Movie.

Yes, an updated PredAlien is coming as well. There has been at least one WIP Shot of it posted by Neca. I also asked them about it on Twitter and they confirmed it a ways ago. 2019 hopefully.

Think it's just a design element. The orange glow works better with the overall colour of the poster.

Well technically Predator 2 and AVP feature a host of Predators who are alive when the credits roll, granted they don't really participate in much.

Actually NECA has already show off a prototype of the ultimate Wolf Predator and it looks like it's going to have a completely different body from this figure with likely no reuse.

I do hope however that the Upgrade Predator seen at the end of the trailer eventually gets retooled to give us the unproduced Kenner Heavy Infantry Four-Armed Predator. I think the massive body size would be perfect for a Kenner Predator Update.

I do not count the other Predators, i know that they flew off with the Ship in Predator 2.

I mean the Predators that actually DO Hunt. None of them survived.
I liked the Wolf and the Scar (AvP 1) so much, i hoped that they would survive.

IN FACT, AvP 2 was really good Movie, but
1) It was to Dark
2) The Ending pisses me off, with the Humans dropping their stupid A Bomb.
If they did not do this, Wolf had survived, because he already got
the Predalien with the Claws through Head Finisher.

I have also asked for a 4 Armed Predator many many times, yet
they are still ignoring that one, and i do not know why.
Because i could imagine, that EVERY Predator Collector would make an Instant
Purchase on the 4 Armed one = Money Rain for Neca

A 4 Armed Predator would be the Holy Grail in every Collection,
along with maybe...a Flying Alien and a Crab Alien.

I don't believe the image posted above is a real theatrical movie poster. Alien or not, the image of a dripping, decapitated head is hardly suitable for public display. More likely, it's an alternate cover for a comic book movie adaptation, or something similar.

As for the character design for the upcoming movie, I'm disappointed that they didn't stick more closely to the definitive original design. I loved that helmet. This one reminds me of a scuba diver, if a modern carmaker was invited to add shiny accents to his diving gear. In other words: meh. Hope the other baddies resemble the true Predator more closely.

From what the trailer shows, nope.

Geez, how long ago was that pic released? It's killing me how much NECA's release schedule has come to almost a complete halt lately. Everything is getting pushed back and back and back...

I don't know, after his wristblade uppercut the Predalien countered with a tail through Wolf's midsection. I think it was a mutual kill, sadly.

Also, you forgot to add that all of the human characters in AvP2 were ultra-annoying and absolutely sucked. If I could just edit that movie so it was just all Wolf, all the time, that would improve it 100%.

Nope, it's a legit teaser poster for the movie.

To that i have so say:

This entire Year is VERY Slow concerning Figures.
Also many many Transformer 3rd Party Figures make almost no Progress at all.

Another Reason is, that all Factories that produce Figures
are COMPLETELY Exhausted / Overloaded with to many Requests.

Every Company wants a Part of the "Super Hero / Robot Cake".
And thus now there is the Result; all the assemble Factories are
totally overloaded with their Capacities.

But beside the Factory Issue, i also ask myself what some Companies are doing.
Almost no Play Arts Kai Figures anymore from Square Enix,
and yes, almost no new Pictures from Neca.

I wonder what is going on with that Companies concerning the Progress
of their Figures.

I completely forgot about that Wolf Predator. That said, i'm sure we will see these new predators used a dozen or so times. That four-armed one was what came to mind when i saw the upgrade predator in the trailer. Fingers crossed.


From their tweets i gather the factory they work with in China dun goofed. Combine that with a desire to release the new predator figures along side the movie they've likely just opted to keep the path clear so as to avoid complications. It also appears to have held up their Alien line as well which may be why we wont be getting an SDCC alien figure this year. The question is how long until after the new movie figures release until they drop all the others on pre-order ... hopefully before the year is out.

If you don't know, there are reports that the story is being "tweeked" with major subplots excised. There is a conflict of vision between the studio and Shane Black, and the studio is forcing Black to pull back some of his more radical ideas (which I hesitate to name for spoiler reasons).

I read something the other day about like 40 minutes of the movie getting cut out and in the process all of Edward James Olmos' scenes being removed.

I assume this giant Predator comes with a stand, but I don’t love the fact that it won’t stand on its own. Those tiny feet will inhibit the dynamic posing.
