I don’t blame neca for it but regardless of who’s decision it is it still sucks. Stupid license rules. What other perfectly screen accurate 6 inch scale 1990s movie turtles are available to Europeans then? If there’s no other line in direct competition with these then I don’t understand where the conflict of interest is.

So, I'm tempted. I have the movie edition figures Playmates did for Wal-Mart and these obviously look nicer. My question and the thing that would put me over the top, though, is how is the articulation? My only real complaint about the playmates figures is how limited the legs are.

Screw Playmates and their dumb Masterlicense. They don't even do anything outside of the new cartoon toys and general merchandise (as far as I'm aware), why not let NECA have the adult collector market?

They have the passion, they make good figures, they have an established customer base. Just put "Playmates" on the box, take a cut for the license and let them distribute worldwide. This stuff sells, I see no reason to not let them do it.

The SDCC set is still exclusive. These are single releases. It is no different than all the people bitching for the last couple years about the Marvel Legends Magik figure that was in the box set and now are singing the praises of Hasbro for putting her out as a single in normal packaging. Have we forgotten that the THOR SDCC set came out at the exact same time the Thor Legends were hitting the shelf with She Thor virtually the same, Thor slightly different, and now Maliketh is out with slightly different colors.

I went to my local Gamestop on my lunch break and pre ordered 2 of all 4 of the Turtles. 5$ down on each and I don't have to drop all the money at once. I can go pay a little every couple weeks until Feb. when they are due.

I just get "This product is no longer available for purchase" and "One or more items have been deleted or modified based on the availability" when I try to go to check-out :confused:

Yes, me too. They must have reached the limits for preorders already. Either that or Gamestop's website is acting screwy. That wouldn't surprise me.

Wow that sucks. You'd think since these aren't available til february that they could make as many as they want to fill demand, but maybe they can only do a limited anount of them?

I am SOOO stoked this is happening. Really liked the SDCC set, but had no chance of ever getting those. This is much better. Just hopefully the local stores get at least 10-15 sets shipped to them, and not just like 4 sets.

If you go into a store, you can actually still pre-order there.

Wow! Randy. You sir are truly awesome! I take back everything I said about you...you...you earned it. The exclusives are still that....packaging and extras. I have the diorama set and this made my day to read that everyone can now own these. These are honestly the best figures I own. Made well,sculpted well,painted well. I hope this opens up the cartoon stuff.

Again,I am so happy that Neca can share these perfect figures with everyone now....no one should have to miss out on these. No one!

You should be able to, yes. I'm seeing people on Twitter doing that since they went out of stock online.

You can slide one pair into the a side strap. It's not like made with holes to hold them, but the strap holds them against the shell.

I'm not pissed b/c of the future value and exclusivity, just that I probably would've tried to save $40 b/c I'm a cheap ass haha. I'm glad I have the set because the packaging is fantastic, but again if they knew this was coming around, they cause a lot of people unnecessary stress. Half the people on online boards went nuts on those 3 days trying to score one.

This is great news for those who wanted them and couldn’t get them.
I just hope the general QC on the indivual releases ends up ok. Some of the box set turtles I have seen (including my own) leave a lot to be desired in that department.

I tried to go and preorder them in store at Gamestop but the guy couldn't find them anywhere in the system, anyone that's done in store know how they did it?

I would assume if you give them the website links they should be able to look them up and pre-order them?
