A lot of the "new" Halloween store stuff people are seeing for Friday the 13th and Nightmare On Elm St. was likely approved and in production last year. At a certain point, it looks like late Summer/Fall 2018, anything not yet approved or in production had to cease. And, according to Randy at NECA, anything that was currently available, could stay in production and get new runs (without changes).

So you're saying that NECA can still re-release any previous Jason figure they've made, correct?

There might be a limit, but they've been pretty much keeping all of their Ultimate Jason's all in production.

It's just been announced that the Wes Craven estate has gotten the U.S. rights to Nightmare on Elm Street. New Line still has the international rights. I have no idea what that exactly means for future movies, but it might free up Neca to release new Freddy figures.

F13 is still tangled up in the courts with no end in sight.
