I saw a few of these at Target today, they looked great but I'm holding out because I hope NECA does the '68 suit. That suit had a good tenure with some of the best entries so for me it's kind of the ideal Showa hero Godzilla.

At this point, I'll probably pick up any Showa Godzilla NECA does. If they ever redo the GMK one like this I'll pick it up as well. The only Heisei era one I want is 89, though if they truly do overhaul the 84 version, I'll probably buy it again.

Great pics Dr. Kain! I didn't realize how small the SHMA one was in comparison, mine has been boxed up for a while. I was able to meet Nakajima at a Con a few years ago before he passed and got him to sign that box, so I put the figure in there.

Oh man, I'm jealous as I never got to meet him. Then again, I've never met any Toku/Kaiju actors period since they only tend to come to cons on the west coast and those are the most expensive ones to go to.

As for the MA, yeah, he's quite small. Initially I had no issue with it because they said they made him smaller since he was half the size of the Heisei monsters, but then they did the 54 Godzilla in a regular size and continued that when they did MG74, so it really exacerbated his small size for me.

I actually met him twice at MonsterMania in New Jersey and then NYCC about a year later I think. 2015ish. At MonsterCon it was him and Kitagawa so I did the photoOP:

All three were at NYCC, so I was able to have Satsuma sign a box too.

I really need to display these:

Really liking this 92 Godzilla. Had some original hesitation but in hand he looks impressive. This might be the best Godzilla. Before, I had said the 94 was, but this has taken the crown.

92? Do you mean 64?

There's just no contest with the 64 one and the 94 one from NECA though.
