I am glad that MCFarlane moves away from the
Statue Business Finally.

No one wanted Static Spawn Statues anymore.

I admit the Borderlands Figures
are not the best Level of Quality.

But for 20$, the MK Figures are.

Sub Zero, has the
same Level of Quality as a Neca Predator Figure.
I own many Neca Figures, so i can say that this is Fact.

Everything, Every Pose i can do with a 30$ Neca
Figure, i can also do with a 20$ Sub Zero.

I think Raiden and Johnny Cage are bad Choices for the next Wave of Characters. But I will buy Raiden, and hope that he will Continue with Line, to Hit Spawn, Liu Kang, Jade, Mileena at some Point.

Those sports plastic statues from McFarlane are just collecting dust for ages as well. Can't remember anybody who saw those sports figures and said "Wow, I REALLY want to get these!"

But he deserves a second Chance to Rise his Company again.

And Show People that he can do Articulated Figures.

If i can get a MK11 Full Articulated Spawn
Figure next Year, I am a Happy Man.

And maybe a Liu Kang Figure.

Hell, i do not even know, why Companies Hate
Liu Kang that much. Even Storm Collectibles
Delayed him for such a long time now.

There MUST be a Figure for the Champion of Mortal Kombat
some day :-)

I keep hoping he knocks the dc stuff out of the park. It seems that is what this thread really is. Just us trying to figure out what the dc will look like. Plus what will spin master offer. The fact is. I’m 38. My son has little interest in toys, though he loves our collection. My space for toys is at almost zero. The new MK doesn’t speak to me,I grew up with the original. Masters of the universe classics is winding down,Star Wars seems to be in a massive transition stage, marvel has all but completed most of the must haves and mattel is now ending the largest selection of dc figures we will ever have.

The only things keeping me in toys right now is super7 completing thundercats and their turtles, and the neca turtle stuff. Even neca has not really thrilled me. I mean, how many aliens and predators can one own? I am a sucker for those toony terrors though. Fact is, to keep us older collectors pumping money in something new really has to break through. And mcfarlane toys offerings so far have not done that for me. I am patient, however. I will wait for toy fair 2020.

In closing, the fact is, I can’t even tell you what I want. I look at my collection and I see few holes. Nothing I’m really missing. Hasbro ghostbusters sound fun, but my god, we went from nothing to everyone making them. I’m out of space.

Come what may.

That's really not saying much. Neca isn't selling a martial artist. Mortal Kombat should be super posable. I wouldn't want Neca making Mortal Kombat either. Their Ninja Turtle figures have amazing articulation, but I'm scared to move them too. Neca does, however, have a hell of a better paint job on all their figures compared to the McFarlane MK. Scorpion is just blobs of paint.

No. He really doesn't. He's had plenty of chances. I honestly do my best to avoid buying his products whenever possible. I only have one, Peely. And that's only because that's the only one I've seen in my area and was an impulse buy "plastic crack fix".

Hasbro is releasing one in January under the Marvel Legends banner.

Anyway... You are free to buy whatever you want, and I'm glad you love the figures. For me, however, as a fan of MK since 1993 and as a collector, they don't fit the bill of quality I require for my collection.

Sure. Can take as many photos as you want. Name your poison.

As for the BFG. That's 3d printed using an anycubic photon. Resin 3d printer results in a really good print at this scale. This was printed with clear green resin. Printed hollow and now attempting to get some LEDs in there.

File is here

Should be around 10cm to get it right.

I also modded the head. Dremeled a socket so it could fit a NECA T2 head. Helmet is as is but now has a carved up head piece that plugs in so it has a neck.

Fantastic work! Really impressive.

Would you mind giving me exact instructions as to how you did the arm mod? And how did you handle all the extra hardware on his left arm? I'd love to try it.

1. Arms are Absorbing man arms from the Edge of the Spider Verse Spider-Man. One is clean and the other is painted to look metal. Clean of the "metal" paint with acetone.

2. Pop the arms of the Doom figure by warming it up in hot water. Also remove the top part of the absorbing man arms.

3. Using a drill bit or a thin dremel bit widen the socket of the absorbing man arms so they fit onto the Doom slayer joints. Don't overdo it just enough to heat it up and pop it on.

4. Wrist guards come off Doom slayers arms. You want to Dremel down the absorbing man forearms so you can slip on the wrist guards without tearing them. I cut back the wrist area a bit more for a cleaner fit.

5. Doom slayer hands easily pop into absorbing man forearms so no mods needed there.

6. Elbow pads. I denied out a slot to plug them in. You could also cut off the peg and glue them on.

7. Left arm has a strap which can be taken off original figures arms with a little heat. Take this off and glue it to the absorbing man arms.

Anyway, not my idea was on another forum. Method wasn't explained so there may be other better ways.

When I look at my Mezco MK line consisting of Raiden, Sub Zero and Kitana, I'm glad to have them in my collection when comparing them to McFcukup's MK line. It's like they totally lost the plot.

I still own Quan Chi. Sold off the others.
These were good Figures, but smaller than i thought.

No Company with the MK License reached the
"VIP Character" Section.

Jaszwares stopped before reaching the Female Ninjas.
Mezco stopped before Reaching Villains and Liu Kang.
Storm Collectibles Delays Liu Kang for Years now.

Even if i do not own any Storm C Figures, i wish
they would finally push out their Dragon and Liu Kang Figure
and maybe reach later MK Games to bring us
Kintaro, Motaro, Onaga and MK 7-11 Characters.

Armored Goro in MK10 was just awesome.

I hope both Lines Farlane and Storm Continue on,
and do not Cancel their Lines to soon.
