Technically it should be since it is now 2020 but maybe we can just play it off as "last year was the anniversary but hey it's still at least 40 years old this year and that sounds better than 41."

If we get the movie Big Chap again in this assortment it'll probably be a minor paint variant (like with some blood splatter) and without any of the Ultimate's accessories (so no egg, facehugger, or chestburster). So if any of those accessories really jazz it up for you then you'd probably still want to look at the ultimate.

Maybe the 40th/41st/whatever anniversary Big Chap will fix the aggravating black paint issue the Ultimate has with the dome.

NECA exclusives are only exclusive in the US. Outside of the US they are carried by a variety of retailers. Those of us in Australia should be able to pick them up from Popcultcha.com.au. There are similar stores in most countries.
